I think the Steelers had the #1 D in the league both of the last 2 times we played them as well. We all saw how that went down.

Over an entire season, total points. We broke the record this year.

It's that whole 12 game versus 16 game season thing.

I don't see how. Your schedule negates that argument out of the gates, and everything else is just speculation.

They didn't score more points (466 VS 606), so I stand by my statement.

Right, and I would argue its harder to average 37.87 over 16 games than 38.83 over 12. So, not disagreeing, just pointing it out.

The great Seahawks held the Colts to 34 points.
They smothered the Buccaneers, only allowing 24 points before *crushing* them in OT.
Matt Schaub was somehow held in check, only scoring 20 points and being *crushed* in OT.

The seagulls are a team to be feared

if you're a bad team.

No. Your offense being unable to score is the reason you are unable to score. And your offense doesn't actually scare anyone. At all. At least not on this forum.

And they've accomplished it in an era where throwing for 4000 yards is no longer impressive.
I wonder when a QB in the vaunted NFC west will finally break 30 TD's in a season. Should be easy in this day of inflated passing stats.

Seattle has only played 4 teams below 15th in defense and averaged 36.5 ppg against those teams.

Sorry but you haven't even mentioned the fact your team isn't the same team away from your thunderdome.

Also you fail to mention your team changes personel on defense a lot. You are about to face the best slow hurry up in the NFL. Manning will call the whole play at the LOS without a huddle. You will get stuck with your nascar package and we will run it down your throats until they are all tired out. Or we will stick you in your big package and Manning will pick them apart with the pass.

Seattle plan to play the big lineup 1st downs, then switch, or just play the nascar package etc isn't going to work.

You're not at home, it's not the same. You are missing a huge glaring flaw in your teams strategy. Meanwhile Broncos defense built to stay on the field more then yours.

Sure, but if Manning and the Broncos gouge them for 400-500 yards of offense and 4-5 TD's would you admit they were over rated?

It's already crazy that Denver has averaged over 3.5 points per drive in the playoffs. But even crazier might be that they had the most yards a Belichick Patriots D has ever allowed, on only 8 drives. They averaged ALMOST 63 YARDS PER DRIVE...unreal...

I will.

Although, wouldn't that belittle Denver's offense just a tad?

Two good teams with different strengths.. Will be fun.

Most points scored in NFL history, a superbowl win, nope, it wouldn't "belittle" a damn thing.

I think it comes down to watching your pathetic offense down the stretch punt time and time again. The funny thing is you don't realize Denver plays ball control now so Seattle isn't going to get a bunch of possessions. I know you think Denver is a quick strike burn no clock let's get into a shootout.
