Default If we win the Superbowl odds on players retiring?

Many players dreams is to win a superbowl and retire when its around their time to call it quits. So what you think. Elway did it. Bettis did it. Ray Lewis did it.

Champ Bailey odds on him hanging it up?
Peyton Manning odds on him hanging it up?

DRC odds on him hanging it up? (jokes he was quoted saying he'd retire if they win the SB)

but really I think its possible one of these players might actually retire if we win the Superbowl.

What do you think?

I think a good chance Champ would retire. I don't see Peyton retiring yet, unless his neck checkup after the season doesn't go well. He's playing at a high level and loves the game too much. They will likely have to take his helmet and cleats from him to get him off the field.

I don't wanna see anyone retire personally, I just say its definitely possible = /.

I wanna see Champ remain a broncos DB. I want 2 or 3 SBs with Manning but ill take 1 if thats all he can give us hes been amazing we are so fortunate as fines to have someone like him QBing our squad.

I really don't see Champ hanging it up. He got the injury bug this year and it takes longer to heal.

Only man I see retiring is Champ. Depends on how he plays in the SB and what his prospects are for next season positionally. I don't see him hanging around if he has a ring and his only prospect is a nickle corner.

Peyton has already stated he wants more years, so unless he physically unable to I would be shocked. And he sure didn't look physically unable Sunday!

I would be surprised but not shocked if Champ hung them up. I think this season has hurt his pride and he would prefer at least one more year so he can flip off his detractors (you know who you were...)

As long as Manning would come back for a shot at back to back id be ok with champ retiring on a Super Bowl note. Not so much DRC as he's got a few years to be good

I think Champ might retire... a couple of blurbs seem to hint at it:

Quote:
Cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie said the trip to the Super Bowl is even more special because it comes alongside a player like Bailey.

“That makes me feel good to see a guy on and off the field who truly deserves it, go out on top like that," Rodgers-Cromartie said.
Quote:
"It's all about my family and these guys that I strap it up with every day," the cornerback said. "They really made this happen for me. It's a good way to top off 15 years. We've just got to go win the next one."
Plus if he does continue, the Broncos would probably have to ask him to restructure his contract or release him.

Unless Manning has to retire because of his neck this year. My bet is he and Champ both play 3-4 more years and then hang it up.
DRC is not going to retire, he was just talking nonsense. He is going to get paid big time this off season.

If Broncos win the Super Bowl, I fully expect Champ to retire. It would be a great way to hang it up. Peyton will play at least one more year. DRC retire? Lol, no. Two words, ch and ching.

I know that's 3.

I think Champ likely retires. Dunno if he's back, even if Denver loses.

I could definitely see Champ retiring if we win the Super Bowl. Manning is going to play at least one more season, probably two.

If we win i think that's it for Champ, and i'd nearly like it to be. Guy's achieved all there is to do at the position if we do bring it home

I personally hope all those douchebags who didn't want Manning as our QB retire from the OM if the Broncos win the SB

I expect both champ and manning back. If champ can still play, which i think he can btw, then i see him still playing.

Hopefully the team can rally behind Champ like the Ratbirds did last year for #52...

Champ should hang it up, unless he's willing to move to safety. I really do believe he could be a fine FS for a couple of seasons. Having said that, I just don't see he'll do that. As for DRC, he'd be fool to walk away from all that cash he's about to earn. I see him sign for 3 years, especially if Peyton doesn't retire.
