Default Terrance "Pot Roast" Knighton aka "The Orange Wall" APPRECIATION THREAD

Big #94 The Orange wall. 340+ pounds of awesome.
Dude was the MVP on defense against the Patriots. and was one of the best players against SD in the divisional round.

1 Sack 2 or 3 TFLs, 4th Down stop. dominated one of the best guards in the league Logan Mankins.

Blount who? Blount got smoked by Pot roast!

JDR is the man for getting him here. So nice to finally have a dominant defensive tackle again.

Dude has been our MVP since week 16. He has stepped up as a player and a leader on the D

JDR has gotten the most out of the guy who looked like a tub of lard during the preseason

those arm tackle he got on Blount and Matthews, i hope he can do it against Lynch. I never seen Bowman, Brooks and Willis have so many missed tackles. Everything was a gang tackle, nothing was one on one. That stiff arm he put on Bowman, Brooks and Aldon was crazy. What was suppose to be a 6yd lost end up being a broken tackle, carry the pile for a 1yrd gain.

Knighton was a great signing. It is funny how so many thought he was a bad signing because he couldn't generate a pass rush.

Looks pretty good to me.

Big Vick beside pot roast could be one of the best DT combos we have ever had...............92 has been solid though.

What a swim move on a quality OL by a 340+ pounder. Seriously a guy that big

is not supposed to move like that.......................WOW

Pot roast talked to the team a couple weeks ago........talks the talk and walks the walk.

He is a man on a mission.............

Thanks!

Peyton's audibles and dummy counts even kinda mirror the Nasdat slang Alex uses. Their meanings are opaque to outsiders.

For sure. The 70s Netherlands soccer teams were nicknamed Clockwork Oranje because of their jerseys and precision passing. Can't think of a better fit for what Peyton does out there too.

I loved seeing JDR get amped after that 4th down stop.

I believe one of the plays was Knighton moving to his right anticipating Blount going to his left. Whole OL was on a shift. Pot Roast noticed he was going to cut and was able to stop that 350 pounds and grab him with his arms while continuing to have a lot of momentum still going to his right. Awesome stop and Blount would have had a huge gain if that was not done.

I guess it is kind of true. The better DL played another position in HS.

Knighton has been playing at an all pro level for these two playoff games! We need him to handle Lynch now. It's amazing to watch how well he is playing actually. I guess JDR has the eye for talent when it comes to DT's. Sly Williams is also playing better now btw. Not at the level of Pot Roast, but I am expecting big things from him next year.

I am shocked at how well Sly is playing right now.
DT is a position where unless you're a absolute stud you tend to not stand out until year 3.
McCoy was considered to be as good a prospect as Suh during that draft and Bucs fans wanted to run him out of town before his 3rd season.
