back in the day you could only wallow in your own despair after big Bronco let downs. But now we have the mane and you can come take it out on other fans.

But now we are going to the Superbowl so none of that **** matter. Ring number 3 baby! It's going to happen.

Congrats again, brother.

I was listening to one of the guys on the Fan talk about how when he was a kid in Denver at a Catholic school, the school MADE you wear Orange on Fridays. I love it. So much football history in that city, hence... my adopted football home city for life.

And again... it's going to be a long couple of weeks...

I remember the RMN board back in the 90s when we were in the midst of the SB run. There was so much camaraderie on that little board. Wonder if any of those old timers post or lurk here?

Anyway, congrats to all fans here.... but yeah, special props to the long-timers who sat through the hard years as well.

Why I made the thread. We have posters that disgust us but for most of the ones we dislike, we all agree that this is a long time coming. TJ started this in 2001 and I would hope some of the greats of the past would come back and celebrate with us on the Mane.

I feel like you, Bronco Bob. I don't know where the years went.

I'm 45 and have about 35 or so years in as a fan... and I guess only a small portion of my life where this team wasn't a major part, despite never living in Denver.

Hell, the Mane is just a sliver... as there was no interwebz for us old geezers back in the day. I used to go to the library to read the Denver Post from out of town. I think about the **** I used to do to get information, and how easy it is now. I'm listening to KOA post-game on my iPhone as I type this. Good times.
When I was 14, my parents got me a subscription to the Denver post for my bday. Since I lived in NYC, they'd come about 3 days late, rolled up in brown paper, but man would I read the **** out of those. Before that, the only broncos news id get in the offseason was limited to a few paragraphs from Joseph Sanchez in the sporting news. Now, thanks to twitter and the mane, im updated on peytons invompletions in mini camp. God bless the interwebz

If you went through most of what I posted in the OP, you qualify. I wasn't around here for the Griese stuff but that could have been added.

At my little house gathering/party I had to go into another room to scream like a little girl. Yeah, I'm excited!

GO BRONCOS!

That Griese pick may have been the worst day of my life.

Peace TD.

I'm very happy to see old timers like Popps, CO and others posting today. I wish they would come around more often but I'll take what I can get. Very happy to see all the old crowd. I wish Slappy would make a surprise appearance...at least for the SB.

I was thinking more along the lines of 80's-90's. Didn't think I was old before this thread.

Hey Popp! I remember you from RMN board. I remember slap, deb, bpc, bendog and others. I was there, you lived in STL.
This month marks my tenth year here at OM. Very proud of the team and organization. Go Broncos. August, 2014 marks ten years since the Duke was inducted as well.

The more super-bowl losses you suffered through, the more you probably qualify.

If you remember the first winning season, and Ralston's special teams "bomb squad," that's even better.

If you remember the Lou Saban half-a-loaf fiasco, you're in.

If you remember when KC had a multiple TD lead on Denver and then Hank Stram started calling for onside kicks, just for practice, you have probably learned to fear the word "proctologist."
