Thanks for the note, Jim. You're absolutely right. After his recent minicamp, the Broncos are convinced that Muneer Moore will be the next big thing in the NFL at wide receiver. The former Richmond Spider wowed coaches and teammates alike with his speed, acceleration and route running. Expect big things starting this fall.

And you have to try the pear scones at Phillipe's. They are to die for! A delight with each buttery bite!

It was tradition to put orange baby socks when born at Denver area hospitals back then. Born at Mercy Hospital City park 1974. Going to pass the tradition on to mine in just two months! WooHoo! Broncos!!!!

If you were here for most of what I put in the OP then you are considered an ok timer at the Mane.

Btw, we joined same month and year.

Shall hit 62 in a couple months, been a die hard Bronco fan since 1964, guess that qualifies as an old timer.

Would give my right nut (almost) for a victory over 49ers (or Hawks if they can pull this one out in the second half) in two weeks, but win or lose Im very proud of this team and what they have accomplished with so much crap they have had to deal with this season.

It will be poetic justice to see Peyton, Champ and Elway with Bowlen up on the podium in NYC hoisting the Lombardi two weeks from tonight!

Lets make it happen Broncos!

I guess I'm an old timer here at the Mane. But a Broncos fan since 1974. I do know it has been quite a dry spell from 1998 until today.

Hadn't thought of that way, but pretty sweet. Orange Mane has been a defining part of my Bronco fandom. Thanks TJ and everyone for the memories, the commiserating through the losses, the celebrating the good times. Let's bring it home again!

Wow, look at the posters on this thread. It's like I'm a single dude in my 30s again.

I feel like you, Bronco Bob. I don't know where the years went.

I'm 45 and have about 35 or so years in as a fan... and I guess only a small portion of my life where this team wasn't a major part, despite never living in Denver.

Hell, the Mane is just a sliver... as there was no interwebz for us old geezers back in the day. I used to go to the library to read the Denver Post from out of town. I think about the **** I used to do to get information, and how easy it is now. I'm listening to KOA post-game on my iPhone as I type this. Good times.

I've followed this team for over 30 years now, through the rough years and the great years and hopefully this year will be the start of another great run.
I've had faith since we last won it and that's probably why I'd be so angry at the end of the year. They can talk about SF, Dallas, Pitt, NE, but they should take notice of Denver as one of the great franchises. I've been a Bronco fan since 1970 and have seen some great stuff, great players out of this team and that's probably why I have little respect for the HOF. This team has brought so much joy to me and continues to do so. It's great being a Bronco fan!

I am not a big poster, but I am a very loyal Broncos fan that has been on this board nearly everyday for the past 11 years, and I am so happy to be a Broncos fan today.

Broncos fan since 1983, and at one point got my news & info out of Denver Broncos weekly to get my week old news, but I didnt care. I recall how tough it was getting news on the team. The interweb/ orangemane provides my fix of Bronco news. There was a site called Broncofreak I believe before I found this great site. So proud of the Broncos from Mr. Bowlen on down.

My 1987 AFC Champion mug is still hanging in there, the back to back superbowl license plate is severely faded. All I can say is it's about time I get to update my swag with another AFC championship shirt and to watch the only team I have ever followed since High School (class of 85) in Steamboat Springs!

Joined this board back in 04' and I usually don't post a ton, but it's kept me sane living in the Bay Area to lurk and catch up with real Broncos Fans. I've bled blue and Orange since 83 and I still have to pinch myself thinking that Manning came to Denver. I can't even imagine what the past two seasons would have been like without him. Ultimately, I would love to see him finish his career ala Elway, but for now I'm just happy to see our Broncos going to the show. Go Broncos!

Yes! Congratulations to ME!!

It was so fun talking to my kids about what happened today and what we are on the verge of experiencing in two weeks. My oldest will be going to Middle School this year and to think she wasn't alive yet when I was downtown celebrating our last Super Bowl victory parade. I sooooooo want to be able to take these kids out of school this February for another!
