So I guess we really want to draft a WR since it's one of the most met positions.

Deone Bucannon is another guy I like. I think he is a SS in the NFL with ok enough coverage skills. Way better then Nacho imo.

also agree, except IMO he's a little more natural ,than Hawk, in coverage against backs and te's . He sure shows the ability to read and fill the hole when he has to. All I've seen is some film on you tube, but like what I've seen.
Noticed you're a fan of Bucannon ,me too, but I doubt we'll even have a shot at him ,think he'll climb up into the 1st round. Him and Hu Ha Clinton-Dix are ,the flavors of the month , this year.

Adding this, the safety problem is a continuing one and the top guys are going to be gone IMO. So maybe we should look at a couple of guys who didn't have good years ,this year, but had good years before this one ,Zimmerman from K state, and Sunseri from Bama. Both have looked real good in the past, and can be taken in the 5th rnd or later this year. Something to think about anyways. Another guy I like is Holl from Baylor he can probably be signed as a UDFA.

Tripp is a OLB though. We have OLB covered. It's MLB we need to draft.

Tripp is also 6'3 240 pounds. He is big enough to move inside.

YES!

My buddy was an incoming freshman with Jordan Tripp... told me after his first week of practice that Tripp will be in the NFL someday, that he is at a whole different level then any player he had ever seen.

His size isn't what I was referring to. He is not a MLB. His skill set is best served as a OLB.

Tried to watch as much tape of him and others that I could find as candidates for MLB. He and Shazier don't strike me as legit MLB's in the NFL.

“Jordan came to Mobile as one of the most heralded sleepers in the country based on the scouts’ comments during the regular season,” former NFL general manager and Senior Bowl director Phil Savage said. “A combination Mike/Will, he has a proportioned build with the frame to add even more weight. His best position may end up being Will, because he is athletic and can chase from the backside, however, he is capable of making the calls as he did for the Jaguars’ staff all week. Jordan has the skillset to develop and will likely become an NFL starter in due time.”

I think he is incredibly talented and versatile. I just don't think he will be a MLB in the NFL. a 3-4 ILB maybe, a true 4-3 MLB? I don't see it.

So how many videos did you find of Jordan Tripp? Just wondering.

Only 4 so far. I hate that it's only highlights because you cannot see everything they do on a given down.
Most of the vids you find are of the games he played vs Appy St and Coastal Carolina. But he looked really athletic and versatile.
Some guys it is hard as hell to find a lot of film on.

I know you can't find that much film on him. That is why I'm having a hard time understanding your opinion on him. Teams clearly wanted to see him call plays at middle at the Senior Bowl and I would bet Denver was talking to him about playing in the middle as well. We will just have to disagree on this.

He has a big mouth. I wonder if he can back it up.

"I don't want to sound arrogant, but I believe that I'm the most versatile linebacker in this draft," Tripp told FoxSports.com. "I believe I can run and cover better than any linebacker in this draft." The reason he isn't considered a first-round pick, he said, "is because I didn't play at Alabama or Texas."

Borland has an exciting highlight reel.
