I simply don't understand the love for failed, retread coaches in this league.

Wade as a HC has to be regarded as one of the all-time worst in the history of the NFL (too lazy to look up his record) but he had Elway and didn't do much and his stint in Buffalo just SUCKED.

As a DC I remember a lot of the players liked him but he seemed too soft...too player friendly which is why they probably liked him. His talent on DEF in HOU was solid and he didn't do much with it.

Kubiak was a **** HC for the most part and I've said it in other threads...his style of Offense is no longer employed in the NFL. He's a dinosaur.

Give me the young, brash coaches, college or otherwise that can enfuse passion and aggression into the players. I still like Stoops and what he did to the vaunted U. of Alabama team. Fast paced and get after it.

Wade just seems to sit there with a constipated look on his face as he paces the sidelines.

**** NO! to either of these guys being in Denver. Wade is out of a job for a reason as is Kubiak.

All the way back in 2012 the Texans had the 7th ranked offense in terms of yards, 8th ranked in terms of points. This is with Shaub as the QB.

I'm not sure he is as ineffective as some claim he is. Injuries and a derpy QB really hurt the offense this year. I still think that Kubiak can be a good OC in this league.

We have a flexible defense but it is a big switch. We would need more LB's, another hybrid type to pair with Von. Then you also need a different set of DE's.
Knighton could work as a NT but Sly wouldn't make a good DE.

Sure.

One of the best lines ever was some DL guy came into Denver to meet with Wade, he tells Wade, "I can stuff a basketball." Wade asks him, "With what?"

Pretty much all the HC jobs have been filled, I don't think JDR is going anywhere.

Would love to bring in Phillips. He is by far one of the best D-coords. Don't care if JDR leaves or not, Wade is an upgrade.
ugh... I really hate this guy. I remember his whiney ass when he was coaching the broncos. The second worst Broncos head coach since 1975.

This! Cleveland apparently wants Gase, but Gase would be stupid to take that job. So there is little likelihood that we get our OC and DC poached (again) this year. We might lose a position coach or two to some of the new staffs being put together, but I see no major changes happening.

hopefully we win the bowl this year and are more or less intact on staff for a run at "back to back" next year. So many injured and FA player questions will be the problem to overcome.

wade lost his father this year and a lifelong colleaguye dropped right in front of him on the field.
Wade was an honorable bronco in the past, his skills and talent have provided him with an excellent resumes of experience and results.
You may not like him as a bronco, but he will none the less have no trouble securing employment of his choosing.

BS. Shawn Phillips is that other hybrid player or don't you remember his yrs at SD when they played in a 3-4. Knighton would make a great NT. As well as Wolfe and vickers on would make good DEs in a 3-4.

Wade had a hand in bringing Gary Zimmerman to Denver. I'll have always have a place for him in my heart.

Not only do I remember that (we beat them and the SI curse lived on after Chargers were on the cover with their big season start) and funny story is about 5 of us Broncos fans are near South Coast Plaza hanging out at the team hotel the day before they play the Rams. I am reliving this same story to the other 4 guys when I notice a girl on the other side of the sitting area laughing to her Mom. We later find out that it was his hot daughter and wife listening in as I tell the "freak out" scene from that 1994 game.

That story was worthless with a picture.

Now it works.....
