Hillman is what? 21 years old now? I doubt the team will fully give up on him unless he shows nothing in the next 3 years.

If he's better, he'll prove it.....right now he hasn't. If Hillman hadn't fumbled at the goal line in Indy, CJ never would have been activated in my opinion.

Me too, and we still do not know because they did not give him any carries!!! His first game he averaged 5 YPC and it seemed like that scared them so they shut him down after that.

And if they would have given Anderson a chance to carry the ball in football games Hillman never would have been called back up to the active roster.

the last time he was in a game Manning had to constantly line him up and tell him what to do....but feel free to hype a guy who hasn't shown much of anything at the professional level yet.

CJ is the better running back, not sure if he hasn't picked up the playbook or they trust him with the pass pro but the flashes he has shown in the preseason and the few meager carries he had this year have shown me that he can run the ball effectively.

Maybe next year he can contribute on game day.

This place is ridiculous.

Hillman has 2 fumbles this season and people are acting as if he shouldn't be in the league.

And then we have people that have it as a fact that... CJ is the better running back...even though CJ Anderson has done absolutely nothing in the NFL outside of 7 carries... so this is absolutely baseless.

They are both young backs and will all have time to develop... it's really unpredictable.

What we do know is Hillman is a better 3rd down running back than CJ Anderson.

After what has happened with Moreno, you'd think all these armchair morons would have learned something...but nope...same people with the same mentalities... progression and development = nothing.

Absolutely pathetic. Some of the dumbest people I've encountered are right here on this forum.

Looking forward to "CJ needs more carries!!" picking up steam and becoming the new "Let Tebow air it out!"

I still think CJ might have the best vision if our backs. Call me crazy!

Four plays later, Joe Flacco found Jacoby Jones for the 70-yard bomb.

Granted I hated the play calling but most of that was because Hillman and Hester were not the answers and I had zero confidence in them. The same confidence I have in him should he take the field this post season.

You may be crazy, but you're not alone in that thought. CJ also runs with the best pad level as well. I'd like to see him get some time in this last game.

He may have been in the right position, Manning changes things 20 times before a snap.

Players drafted in the 3rd round generally get many more chances than UDFAs. Come on now.

It's really hard to say seeing as he hasn't played barely at all. He has shown some potential, no doubt, but Moreno and Ball have been displaying great vision of late.

Oh OK.....at least now we know who to blame.

Not the pro bowlers who couldn't sack Flacco....not the two HoF players who gave up 2 long TD passes or threw 2 INT's one a pick six and the other that set up the game winning FG....and not the secondary that allowed the 70 yard hail Mary TD.

Nope it was the rookie running back who rushed for over 80 yards when the starter went down...got it!
