I sure hope so but I don't think Denver can win it with the Defense they they will be putting out there. If the do win it should cement PM as the GOAT in a lot of peoples minds. If Denver was able to pull it off it would go against PM postseason trends and there has never been a defense this bad win it all.

50/50 chance I say.

OP, this happens when you don't actually make a poll with the choices already there. You now are getting Mane smacked.

The 2010 Patriots lost 21-17 to Giants and came within a dropped Wes Welker pass of possibly winning it with a statistically worse D

With our defense and the injuries my initial reaction is to say no. But when I look at the rest of the AFC I feel like we are better than everyone, especially since we should get them in Denver.

Let me ask you guys this...right now who scares you the worst in the AFC in a one game matchup at Mile High? I don't know why but for some reason for me it is the Bengals. I could see AJ Green killing us.

Bengals, easily.

They have talent at every position. Their QB is the only thing that really holds that offense back from being elite. Dalton has been good, but not great.

I believe it's ours to lose. As long as we don't kill ourselves with turnovers, this offense is way too good not to outscore the opponents. I predict a lot of high scoring, close games in the playoffs, but we're definitely capable of winning them all.

any team willing to rely on their run game will pose a threat to our broncos.

I've known too many obnoxious Patriot fans who think its their right to win the Super Bowl every year. There must be some sort of vast conspiracy that prevented their team from winning. I don't want to be that kind of fan and answering this question yes puts me well down that road. I love this team, I love how they're winning and I look forward to seeing what they do week in and week out. I cant wait to see what the next few weeks hold.

With the Patriots game being an exception, they need to get out to leads and quit screwing around in the first halves of games.

That's the best way to protect the defense.

Put them in position to pin their ears back and attack the QB.

Disagree fully. This will only work if the Broncos offense is inept (ie, the chargers game). Don't expect that to be the norm.

Broncos O only 4/20 on 3rd down conversions the last two weeks, and this against two bad defenses. Need to clean that up or it will be a short postseason.

I wouldn't consider Houston's defense to be "bad" by any stretch.

Let me guess though that Defense was good at getting turnovers and sacks.

our "ineptness', as you put it, seemed to be hinged on TWO primary factors, PFM's arm was tired, and weak, he therefore could not, or would not, execute DEEP passes of more than 20 yards, and our O was predictable to a former coach who had his new team well prepared to defend our own offense and tendancies.

'RUN THE BALL, AND STOP THE RUN" it remains true, decades later.

the passing attack will flourish ONLY if the first elements are met.
If you doubters dont agree, let me know when they put your name on the trophy.

A very good 7th in yards (much better than I realized), but a very bad 26th in points. An odd disparity in those stats.

Regardless, for some reason we've struggled converting 3rd downs the last two games and it needs to be better. Missing Welker could be part of it.

Welker is a big reason why we sucked on 3rd down lately
