He loves to think of himself and portray himself as this benevolent owner who runs things first class when in reality it's not.

And you want Shanny to mend fences with him? Shanny brought him hundreds of millions more in revenues than he took from him. He doesn't owe Bowlen anything. If its not for him, he doesn't have 2 titles and maybe not a stadium either. Bowlen is a lowlife, Shanny doesn't need to drop to his level.

SoCal, despite our differing opinions of shanahan, I think of you as a great poster.

But dude, how can you trash bowlen? He's one of the best; he actually gives a **** about winning unlike many , many other professional sports owners.

Anyone hear Tony Kornheiser on Mike & Mike this morning? He said that Snyder hasn't meddled much since Shanahan has been coach. This is Shanahan's roster and Shanahan's coaching staff. In other words, this is Shanahan's team and Shanahan's mess. Just like it was in Denver. Shanahan was a great coach for Denver in the mid to late 90's and deserves our respect and admiration for the two Super Bowl wins he had a big part in bringing the organization. That said, the guy has 1 playoff win since 1998 and has been at the wheel of the Washington Redskins reclamation project going off a cliff. He's deserving of much of the criticism he's getting now, like it or not.

shanny is going to have to sleep in the bed he has made for the next 3 weeks, snyder is not going to let him off the hook. His players have quit on him because he has not earned their respect.
should be very interesting how this all goes down.

Good. This is Shanny's chance to prove something that RG3 came back to fast and here is some results that might have helped the Redskins win. Of course that defense is his downside. Interesting last 3 games.

shANNYS ENTIRE TEAM QUIT ON HIM LAST SUNDAY. WHAT KIND OF AN EFFORT DO YOU THINK HE is going to get after calling out the O line and throwing the team under the bus so he can get canned and cash in on millions ?
what player is going to respect shanahan when he is making these self serving decisions?
I agree shanny should play cousins, he should have played cousins at the start of the season !
and all indications are that SHANNY was 100 % behind having FG3 start the season !

I would imagine Shanny trying to win games so he can **** the Redskins over with a worse pick.

Then I remembered they don't have their 1st round pick...

Not sure what you are trying to get at. That was a great move by Shanny. In fact, that was one of the best coaching games of all time in a game that important.

My point is that shanny is not above risking the health and well being of anyone to acheive his goals. for him to deny that he would send RG3 on to the field if he did not think it was in his best interest is just a lie! shanny has shown his colors, self serving, always has been. stubborn and arrogant to the point of over-riding his better football sense. The post about al wilson is dead on too !

after the loss to the chefs some media pundits like Cowher disliked what RGIII said in his press conference. I also thought it didn't sound good either. Could this be an important reason for the benching? I think the injury concerns are also there, but RGIII didn't act like the team leader in the press conference after the game.

Why grossman over cousins? Someone would trade a high pick for cousins if he looked good.

You read it wrong. "Grossman is taking over as backup QB".

Your point was horrible. TD went in as a decoy. He wasn't getting the ball or getting hit. Even if he did get hit, his situation was a migrane headache. Of course it probably doesn't feel good to be belted with a painful headache but it would take a massive fake and a defender looking down to see that TD didn't have the ball and Elway was on his bootleg.

Look, I am not here to back Shanny like some (SoCal for one) and he has made some horrible mistakes. This is great drama if Cousins kicks ass during these 3 games. I wish Shanny didn't suck this bad and he corrected his mistakes from Denver. When you stink at defense and one of your coaches is Slowick, you deserve some ribbing and I get it. Chef has so much hate for Shanny that he has to make **** up and once again, doesn't back it up with facts. In conclusion, bringing up TD play where Elway gets us a TD in the Super Bowl is moronic.

See this clip if you forget...

keep the faith
I donbt need to bury shanahan, he is doing a pretty good job all by himself.
and IF he gets another job as a HC he will galvinize every negative aspect of his abilty as a HC and a human being that I have expressed since 2003.
