Bell is also 21 years old, 14 years younger then Bailey. It would probably help you to find a player of similar age to Bailey with the same injury to make your comparisons. Or would that get in the way of you "telling it like it is"?

It took Bell at least one and a half months to get on the field dude from the August date you posted.

He had one bad PLAY vs. the Ravens, and even that play he may have been expecting safety help.

He was abused MUCH worse by Chad Johnson than by TSmith, and that was in the middle of one of the greatest runs in CB history. I don't think Champ's career is over because he had one bad play last year. DRC has a lot more than that this year.

and who says it is the exact same injury affecting the exact same part of the foot. Plus CBs need to twist, turn and pivot and they need their top speed to play.

Why don't we just let Champ get healthy before we right him off. If he cannot get healthy well then we have our answer. I wanna just nut punch a whole bunch of people

and running backs do not?
can you not hear how silly your defense of champ is, you are discounting the value of a runningbacks foot in his performance.
fat chance you can be convinced that the injuriesd are indeed quite similar . never mind that BOTH players have been CLEARED bt physicians to play, while one does, regardless of his pain and the other sits out 2 more months because he does not feel ready to go.
CHAMPS BACK STILL HURTS FROM SAVING THAT BUSLOAD OF BLIND CHILDREN AND NUNS FROM GOING OFF A CLIFF.

So after a quick trusty web search, I found that Jake Locker has suffered from a lisfranc injury and will miss the remainder of the season. Santonio Holmes had it last year and it knocked him out for the entire season.

So Chef should Locker hang it up because he is out for the season? Granted, Holmes has not performed well this season, but one could argue that he is on a horrible passing team.

Same exact injury.
But he returned when the doctors told him it was healthy, Not when he decided it didnt hurt any more.
Believe what you want.
Champ baily greatest bronco ever since JFE.
Exact same injury? How exactly did you come to this conclusion? Are you a doctor that's able to diagnose both guys? Not to mention their 14 year age difference?

"Not all Lisfranc injuries are identical."

“I’m aware of who we’re playing every week, but if I’m not feeling good enough to play, I’m not playing,” Bailey said. “I can’t do that to my body and I can’t do that to my team because I won’t be 100 percent. It’s just the way it is – got to deal with it.”

It's a good thing you provided the source for those quotes.

the lisfranc comes with different severities. OIt put our own clady on IR ! the same doctors that shut down clady said champ is good to go fit to play, wont cause any additional injury.
santonio and locker, their injuries mre sever, their dsoctors have NOT cleared them
champ is not playiong because does not want to play. it is just that simple, no one is holding champ out other than champ...
oh and this weeks opposing QB !

someone else aready did, date nov 22 before the pats game!
but please continue to allow yourself to believe I made that up so you can retain your false impression of the kind of teammate champ bailey is.

Oh so I have to go search for it. That's all you needed to say. BTW, I thought that Bailey was a terrible teammate, but thanks for clearing it up for me that I was wrong and he is indeed a great teammate.

So you just make **** up. Unless you are sitting right there with the actual diagnosis...you don't know anything.

Good to know you avoided my post too. That's what liars tend to do.

I like how you're throwing out that Champ quote...care to throw out the quote a few weeks back where he said the concern about his foot was also about his long term health and whether he'd be able to walk again? In regards to reinjuring it...etc.

I said this a few weeks ago. This could be a blessing in disguise...rest champ, get him back into game shape with the last few games of the season and have him ready for the post season to go 100% for 3-4 games.

I could be just shooting for the stars, but this definitely isn't as bad as Mario's b**ch is making it to be.

The wait for Champ Bailey may be coming to an end.

The Broncos cornerback, who has missed the first five games of the 2013 season, was more optimistic on Thursday about his chance of playing Sunday than he has been all season.

"I'm progressing toward (playing)," Bailey said. "That's the plan. I've kind of been planning on that for a few weeks."

Bailey dispelled any notion that he'll be rusty when he makes his return, and he also said that he doesn't think the pain in his sprained left foot will ever go away. Even so, he's ready to return from what he said feels like a "long vacation."

Defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio would not confirm whether Bailey's return will happen this week, and any official word will more than likely not come until Sunday.

every article I find, since the USA article in september, says champ is suffering from a foot sprain and has been cleared to play, cleared to practice. no one but champ is stopping champ from playing.
he says he wants to be 100 % for him thaT MEANS PAINFREE! he refuses to take a shot, like the real teaM LEADER pfm DOES EVERY GAMEDAY !
his team needs him but he is apparently to afraisd of being embarassed because now QBs target him when before they avoided him and he is not up to the challenge !
coward baily

Only Chef Loogie could simultaneously argue that Champ is more of a liability than Kayvon Webster, but is a p***Y for not pushing himself out onto the field before he thinks he's ready.
