And you get the exact same answers when you ask what other players on Denver's roster has a Lis Franc injury?

want to compare apples?
Leveon bell suffered the exact same injury on august 19th !
he has come back to play 9 games for his team and be an asset for his teammates.
almost 200 touches and helping his team win.
Same exact injury.
But he returned when the doctors told him it was healthy, Not when he decided it didnt hurt any more.
Believe what you want.

Champ Bailey made every child under 8 that was staying at my resort watch Ghostbusters twice. He also made them wait in line to eat afterwards. Therefore, he sucks at playing football and healing.

would add rep.... He also makes fun of Mormons, does not believe that Elway is the GOAT, and thinks the Colorado rocky mountains suck.

This thread is just getting OLD.

I half agree with Chef that Champ is milking the injury , and maybe is afraid of getting toasted out there. And Maybe with the cold his foot started hurting him late Friday....it's a rough COLD week and he is the second oldest guy on the team.
Like Chef I am disappointed that he didn't play..... With the injuries to other players, he owes it to the team to TRY.

But Until he plays and does good, bad, or indifferent the thread is just spinning wheels and BLABBER, Bla, Blah!

Everyone should give it a rest!

Bell is also 21 years old, 14 years younger then Bailey. It would probably help you to find a player of similar age to Bailey with the same injury to make your comparisons. Or would that get in the way of you "telling it like it is"?

Moron.............
He had one bad PLAY vs. the Ravens, and even that play he may have been expecting safety help.

He was abused MUCH worse by Chad Johnson than by TSmith, and that was in the middle of one of the greatest runs in CB history. I don't think Champ's career is over because he had one bad play last year. DRC has a lot more than that this year.

and who says it is the exact same injury affecting the exact same part of the foot. Plus CBs need to twist, turn and pivot and they need their top speed to play.

and running backs do not?
can you not hear how silly your defense of champ is, you are discounting the value of a runningbacks foot in his performance.
fat chance you can be convinced that the injuriesd are indeed quite similar . never mind that BOTH players have been CLEARED bt physicians to play, while one does, regardless of his pain and the other sits out 2 more months because he does not feel ready to go.
CHAMPS BACK STILL HURTS FROM SAVING THAT BUSLOAD OF BLIND CHILDREN AND NUNS FROM GOING OFF A CLIFF.

So after a quick trusty web search, I found that Jake Locker has suffered from a lisfranc injury and will miss the remainder of the season. Santonio Holmes had it last year and it knocked him out for the entire season.

So Chef should Locker hang it up because he is out for the season? Granted, Holmes has not performed well this season, but one could argue that he is on a horrible passing team.

Exact same injury? How exactly did you come to this conclusion? Are you a doctor that's able to diagnose both guys? Not to mention their 14 year age difference?

http://espn.go.com/blog/stephania-be...nc-explanation

"Not all Lisfranc injuries are identical."

“I’m aware of who we’re playing every week, but if I’m not feeling good enough to play, I’m not playing,” Bailey said. “I can’t do that to my body and I can’t do that to my team because I won’t be 100 percent. It’s just the way it is – got to deal with it.”

It's a good thing you provided the source for those quotes.

the lisfranc comes with different severities. OIt put our own clady on IR ! the same doctors that shut down clady said champ is good to go fit to play, wont cause any additional injury.
santonio and locker, their injuries mre sever, their dsoctors have NOT cleared them
champ is not playiong because does not want to play. it is just that simple, no one is holding champ out other than champ...
oh and this weeks opposing QB !
