Default Let me say this re: Broncos Defense

If the team really wants to be thought of as a bonafide Super Bowl contender, they had better shut KC down right here...

The D gave up two touchdown drives. Manning gave them the ball on the 30 and they had a ST touchdown.

Defense needs to get healthy.

They do have problems rushing the QB too.

Alex Smith was really, really good today. If his receivers make some tough catches this could have been a different result.

I don't think the D was all that bad, but definitely need a better pass rush. Hopefully, they will get healthy and Von can lose the weight and they can figure that out.

Please don't go Chris Collinsworth, we dropped several passes as well.

Had KC's WRs actually caught the ball like they are paid to do they probably win the game.

Defense was OK . Would like to see Bailey and DRC full go before becoming too alarmed

One guy dropped balls in the first half. We have better receivers, but drops have been a problem this year. You seriously don't think so? In this game, they held on to it when it counted; their guys didn't. What is wrong with saying that?

I don't disagree, but another factor is that going deep is not what thier wr's are used to. In other words, they were out of thier element.

I agree. They're essentially saying: "If their players were better they would have won!"

If Webster doesn't get too shallow and lose track of his man to give up a HUGE pass on third down the Chiefs likely never even get back within 7. So if we had players who played better, things might have been different too.

It's nonsensical.

Also seriously..what is with defensive backs with numbers ending in '6' and depth perception?

This team will go as far as our offense takes it. Nobody will shut it down. We just can't **** it up on our own.

We've given up over 100 points off of turnovers. When this defense looks bad it's usually because we hang it out to dry on offense/special teams.

We don't **** up they look good.

I'm annoyed at how weak the defense has looked on certain drives over the past two games, but I'm not exactly concerned with it. The biggest blow is obviously Vickerson (and perhaps Moore), but everyone else could theoretically be healthy for the playoffs. Bailey is starting to seriously worry me for the rest of the season, though if DRC gets back to top shape we'll be alright.

It's a shame nobody ever got to see this team operating at 100% this season.

Our defense is really bad
However we saw what happened to Baltimore's D when they were without Ray Lewis and Ed Reed

DRC is very important and losing two starting Dlinemen in one week was a lot as well
