silver lining might be that Wolfe moves back inside and Ayers takes more snaps at DE. Also, Williams gets a chance to shine.

Sly played most of the 2nd half. but Brady was tossing it then, so he disn't face too many run plays.
He still is not holding his gaps real well. Charles 35 yd run was due to a mistake by Sly.
He will need to put on his big boy pants when he is in now. Hopefully he can.

Keeping Vick on the roster may be good...only if we win out. If we lose one it may be time to IR him.

Also any more injuries in the secondary and we should check the waiver wire for some safety and CB help.

Charles run had two holds on it. Gotta fight thru them, but it was blatant.

Ouch! He was playing at a Pro-bowl level. That hurts. We'll have to see how it affects us against KC and Jamaal Charles.

I don't like seeing any of our guys get hurt but at least now Wolfe will get more DT time so I expect more pressure up the middle and more DE time for Ayers so I'm thinking that this may actually end up being a change up that we needed to keep some of our opponents off guard.

More PT for Malik? Unrein? Sly?
Probably best man for the job and/or rotation. UGH! Too many injuries killing our defense right now.

Malik Jackson only got 18% of snaps against NE? No wonder why there was no pass rush in the 2nd half. Now is not the time to be coaching up non impact 1st round draft picks. Del Rio is the primary reason the Broncos lost, by going to soft zone in the 3rd quarter. Benching Jackson for Williams is not smart.

Brady was picking the Broncos apart with Williams uncoordinated, non trying ass in the middle

I think correlating the two is odd. Also, can we retire the "not trying" excuse?

We can only hope Sly gets his stuff in gear, but I think he hit his rookie wall already. Step up.

This! Williams is not ready, not making plays. Jackson, Wolfe are better.

Vickerson to IR means we will be looking for help and have an open roster spot.

I saw Williams do a complete 360 right in front of Brady the other night.

Not sure what that was all about.

John Fox and Jack Del Rio need to send Sly Williams back to the factory so he can get his work ethic back up.

Bannan, Seymour, Warren? If they come in cheap with a chance for ring.

Bannan is pretty familiar with our scheme and would be best fit.

Unrein , Jackson, Wolfe for now. I have no confidence in Williams. Sign one of the above for immediate depth.

Possibly look at CB, safety help too, if Holliday is released ( probably not).

Seymore is an interesting name if he's got any gas left in the tank. Vickerson was like an enforcer for us. Seymore fits the build and mold fairly well.

Exactly.

Big Vick kinda rubbed me the wrong way from that stretch from the Indy game through the Chiefs game because of all the penalties.
