right, but we are used to spliting the series against KC, no matter who is having the better season or the better team. I had us 13-3 to start the season, @ Indy, @KC and @New England were the 3 losses i circled when the schedule came out.

Absolutely. I figured we would split as well....which still puts a lot of pressure on you guys. Especially with NE up next weekend.

Should be a fun stretch during the holidays.

Kansas City fared better than I had thought they would, and the two drives they did have for touchdowns were fairly solid. It's a solid team in that it's really nothing special (including the pass-rush) but it doesn't beat itself.

They're still blatantly not good enough to beat Denver.

Thats's funny, because I left the game thinking the D of KC and their destroyer of QB's pass rush was kind of... no was a major joke. They got HANDLED by a back up Left Tackle and a hobbled Right Tackle. The Broncos didn't even max protect all night. Often they got silenced man against man.

I think you very well will win in Arrowhead, toughest place to play in the NFL. But it will not be because KC is good.

Do I still think your D is good, yeah I guess. But not as good as they looked playing ****ty ass teams.

Yeah, if Prater doesn't miss a FG, we would have scored 30.....oh, and Moreno had 79 yards rushing....Charles 78.

So which way do you wanna look at it? If Moreno didn't run the ball against you, then neither did Charles (35 on one solitary run)....if Charles had what you would consider a successful game running the ball, then so did Moreno.

Honestly our pass rushing having an off night and the defense not playing that well makes some phases of what our defense can do even more impressive.

Correct. This was a game Denver should win if they are to be considered serious contenders. While they failed to play a complete game, which has been a theme of late and I would really like to see this team moving towards something resembling "peaking" the Chiefs also did not play well.

This type of result for the Broncos at Arrowhead would get me excited, at home, meh.

The win\loss column is 9-1 for both teams. That much is clear.

Yeah, I really wasnt impressed with KC for a 9-0 team and the leagues best scoring D. They had 2 weeks to prepare and all they could do it punt the whole game.

Denver played their worst game of the year on O and still won handily. Game wasnt a close as a glance at the top line of the box score would indicate.

Bottom line:
Denver's Elite O >>> KC Elite D
Denver's average D >>>>>>> KC inept O

Offense lost us this game.
You have a lot in common with Jerry Jones...moral victories count.

In this post. Creating fantasy to rationalize a close a game.

Losing a game by double digits and trailing by 17 at one point equals "in it the whole game" to you? Good lord you are nuts.

It isn't surprising to me that in today's NFL the best defense was outmatched on the road against the best offense. We all know how the NFL likes its games these days.

Those off nights have been stacking up. Only one sack against Campbell. Zero sacks against Tuel. Now zero sacks against Manning.

Moral victories don't count at all. But the way a game shakes out can say a lot about two teams who still have to face off again. Especially when the narratives in the matchups are so strong.

Should've been a blowout. So many mistakes that killed drives, and Manning was off much of the night.

Never trailing in the game is glaring.

Yes. Should have been a Chiefs win. But we didn't score as much as the Broncos.

Haha. Are catching some of the mental illness that Jetmeck possesses?

So according to the stats on CBS Sports (because the NFL stats page is trying to be too cool rather than useful) the Chiefs entered tonights game allowing the opposition to score an average of 12.3 points per game.

The Broncos just put 27 points on that Defense, keep in mind all scores were from the offense. That is a whopping 74.8 percent difference. As in destroying the average... and yet the rally cry is "Well you didn't score 30.
