Jamal didn't do squat. Broncos D held him in check quite nicely ( he did have one 35 yd play) but mainly averaged about 3 YPC. He lost yardage on screens, and effectively was neutralized.

Actually your d did a great job in stopping our run game and a pretty good job on our receivers too. Kudos to them. But mainly Denver was running clock and making sure the vaunted KC pass rush was a non factor, and they excelled at that. O sacks and 2 hits, 0 knockdowns. More to come in two weeks in the rematch, but I doubt it goes much different.

And If Prater hadn't missed a kick we WOULD have scored 30.

Chiefs need to win the turnover battle + 2 to even come close to beating a team. They are not good enough to win a game straight up.

Peyton threw up 3 hundo passing on the Chiefs D on 1 leg. He would have had more TDs except for he was smart and gave the ball to Monte on the goal line because the Chiefs Run Defense is soft.

Manning was a little off at times tonight

The long passes to DT and Andre Caldwell normally would be completions

Our defense needs to play better also

They were "meh" tonight

Im hoping Von can start dominating again

The statement that Charles "shredded" us is hilarious.

Dude had one great run, aside from that he didn't do a damn thing. Got his ass handed to him on three consecutive runs at the goalline too.

That said, I do think Kansas are a good team. That defense can play.

The game in Arrowhead is gonna be a tough one.

Yes, Denvers D got conservative when it was looking like it was going to be a blowout. If it was a closer game Manning wouldnt have been so conservative and we prolly would have put up at least 35 on them. And if he was 100% healthy we put up 40plus on them.

I realize they need defense and special teams scores to band aid that punt factory they put on the field.

So...heh...this is the part we inject fantasy to rationalize why it was the close game you wish it wasn't.

what team with a winning record have the Chiefs beat straight up without winning the turnover battle? Eagles are the only team they beat with a winning record right? Didnt they win turnover battle +5?

Not sure the Broncos or their fans have a lot to gloat about after this game.

It was a really good and deserved win. Having said that....there is nothing about it that made me think the Chiefs won't win in Arrowhead...probably by a bigger margin I would say.

They were the better team on the night but I wasn't really that impressed.
