90 % of the time von was 1 on 1 and failed all night to get to the QB watch the game again. watch him just get pushed out of bounds by a single blocker as the ball carrier goes by, watch him half effort jog after the ball carrier in his "pursuit'
the 6 game, well rested von miller played like a guy off vacation.
sorry von lovers check the stat sheets for a dose of reality !

You have to wonder if that extra weight makes a double team difficult.. hard to believe one man could overpower two men, so a third on is brought in.

i did not witness a single double or triple team in the second half against von. I did see him on the sideline for many 3rd down plays however because he was stinking up the joint! you know you recorded the game, watch again if you can bear the reality.
hey, remenber that greaT SACK dance he had in the third quarter?

If the ball is never thrown at Champ because the QB is afraid of him, then how is he supposed to accumulate stats? 0 stats is one of the marks of a great cornerback!

I can't believe I'm replying to this moron...now I feel like the idiot.

If this continues, we need those other 10 to play at their top talent. I thought our DL was awesome and when they spotlight our best defender, everyone stepped up and did their job.

Agreed others need to step up. I do not have the luxury to re-watch games and it is a lot to take in. but if backs are chipping and double and triple teams guys need to win there one on ones as Phillips, Jackson, and Wolfe did. I also thought I saw Sylvester Williams putting on some pressure last night. but like I said I only think cause I cant re-watch it.

This^

Had to shake my head a little when Collinsworth was hyping the chiefs right tackle and showing him "blocking" Von. Totally overlooked the fact that twice in his highlight reel Von was being doubled/tripled and chipped by RBs and the TE.

I like Collinsworth. Or, I have anyways, liked his work in the past (yes, I know not all on here do), but that was pretty bad last night. Almost seemed apologetic on the chiefs behalf all night. "They be be proud of this!"

K, Chris...

von had 1 tackle for the entire game, and not a solo tackl;e at that!
montee ball had a better DEFENSIVE game than von miller, he at least had one solo tackle on special teams.
stats/ schmats. i watched von play like a chump being driven off the ball and out of the play by a single blocker, no pursuit, bull**** EFFORT !
total liability in the run game, see the QB keeper for details !
there is a reason why JDR had to take von off the field on critical plays !
he was stinkiing up the joint !

go ahead and answer my above question based off a "stat" you provided, even though now you say they dont matter.

This thread has irrefutable evidence that Von was doubled or engaged by the TE before the OT and also a couple cases where he gets upfield to set the edge and forces Charles back inside to the inside backers.

Von was tasked with setting the edge and keeping Charles inside the tackle. He did his job even when getting double teamed. The only mistake he made all game was the read-option play.
