Hard for me to believe how old the guy is... Seems like only yesterday he was drafted.

I'd find room for him if he came reasonably. He'd provide some depth, and leadership for a young team looking for an end run. Though I'll be he ends up in New England.

Actually, I forgot that Bolden is our backup KR.

That wouldn't work.

I'd be shocked if neither dallas nor NE claimed him.

Question is... Do you want Adams or Reed.

Yep, it is the ST role that is the killer.

I don't know at this point if he would be better than anyone else on the roster at Safety.

Plus I don't see him going all the way through 31 other teams, a lot of whom, like duh bears, could use safety depth.

I'm sure Reed will be thrilled about the Jets prospect.

He has a lot of mileage on his tires, but he can't be any worse than Adams.

Kinda late in the season though unless he can be talked into doing some ST duty.

If we take him then he can be Knowshon's hurdling dummy during practice. He was certainly his hurdling dummy during the regular season. Ok, once. One time. But he could do it every day if we picked Reed up...

It doesn't get too interesting because it goes by waivers.

I'd add him in a second if I thought he could make the team better. I think he's got plenty to offer someone, but I don't think that team is the Broncos. I don't know enough about the Patriots, or Cowboys roster to say whether he'd be a good fit there, but I believe his playoff experience alone could be valuable to a team that is looking for an experienced leader who can give some depth.

I think people are crazy who just blanket dismiss what Reed can offer the right team. I just don't think that there's a player that we can cut and make Reed a net positive for our situation. But if there was, I'd jump.

Shades of the late season Tim McKyer signing before the SB32 run?

If he can run a 40 that is.

There was a stat on ESPN showing the Texans D give up more TDs with him off the field than when he's on the field..whatever that's worth.
