No doubt but you won't get a Brandon Marshall/Dez Bryant type of receiver. That could be a good thing too.

Meh. Marijuana should be a non-issue in today's NFL. Only thing I'd rip him about would be if he was high and driving wrecklessly

I think the distinction is between use and possession. If he was caught using drugs, then it would apply. However, this is possession, which would be treated differently. Technically a difference. the arrest, I'm sure, will carry some sort of punishment, but not on the heals of a use violation.

Living in Colorado it's easy to forget that people actually get arrested for simple possession of marijuana and go down to the station to get booked....

Regardless of what side of the fence you're on with the marijuana debate it seems pretty silly to be wasting the amount of time and resources we are on an NFL player speeding with less than an ounce on him.

Yeah, Bowe and his bud's were using it as an anti inflammatory remedy... Jusus you are just plain out of touch. 3 guys are using it to get freekin high and then operating a motor vehicle AND speeding. Lucky they did not hit someone and kill them. Only a pot head would use such logic.

Forget the legality of weed or even the moral aspect of it. Having it in a car is pretty stupid. Doing so when you are in the NFL is a step up. Doing it when you already have had league trouble for whatever...is, well...yeah.

.34 of an ounce? Wow shouldn't be a big issue.

Also, this is a first time offense. Performance enhancing drugs is a different violation. He's not in a program for this.

He'll get a 1 game suspension probably. Most likely the Raiders game. Or maybe a preseason game.

I assume the court date will be pushed back til after January so that he
won't face any discipline til after the season. Then Maybe he gets a full
year or 8 games. At any rate this is a non factor for this year.

Just shows that MJ is in widespread use no matter which team is involved.
Also that NFL players will risk their career/ income in a stupid way for a minor
high.
But what if he tests positive before that date?

If I were the NFL I would have him tested now, especially if he is in the program.

A positive test would mean suspension either way.

Not like they would miss him

This is the difference between Denver and kFc.

Denver goes through their bye week with a serious health issue to their HC and the team keeps it's focus, gets through the bye without any incidents and we don't miss a beat beating SD on the road.

kFc has their $56 Million Dollar man, and a team captain, get busted in a car possessing weed at a traffic violation.

One of the many reasons Denver will expose kFc for the frauds they are.

I get what you are saying here, but last I checked there...it's illegal. The amount only really dictates personal use or something much worse.

Just as traffic tickets with Von "shouldn't be a big issue", they speak to the common sense of the person.

He should have used a performance enhancer, he is on pace to under perform his 2009 campain which would be his worst year ever.

Great $56 Million Dollar investment to upgrade your WR corps!

Dude is a born leader.

I dont go to CP for sane reasons but I bet there is a ton of hypocrites that were all over Von Miller for weed but now protecting Bowe.

Not saying you are but just figured I would quote you as a Chiefs' fan.

Sad news that he's been arrested.

Good news for Chiefs fans is that he's still alive. I don't think anyone has seen him since March 14.

You won't know if he is in the program after 1st offense though. So until we see the punishment. If none then he is now in the program. Problem with that is its hard for guys to quit smoking and now he will get 10 tests a yr.

Also it explains why he never got that good. Too much smokin, not enough practicing and working out. In any even not good news for Queefs heading into the game that will define the season.

That's what happens when Alex smith is your QB. Ask Michael Crabtree.

Alex throws to TE's 95% of the time
