How many games will Bowe miss? I highly doubt the Chiefs sit the guy on their own, they don't have enough class to do that, especially right before we play them. I'm just curious as to how many games he will be suspended for by the league and when will they do it?

Depends if he's had any other violations. Sounds like a 1 game suspension is likely, if he hasn't.

Bowe's already admitted he used marijuana before driving, but the NFL has jurisdiction on the matter. They can wait for his court date, or they could suspend him at any moment. He and the NFLPA could appeal said suspension which would probably drag it on for a few weeks if not longer.

If he does have prior tests that can be connected to the NFL's policy, it's always possible the Chiefs and the NFL could negotiate to lower the penalty (with the agreement to not appeal).

That was kinda what they ended up doing for Hali. Ended up getting a 1 game suspension, but without pay for an additional game. It's what happened with Von Miller as well, as the league wanted 8 games, but they settled on 6 and no appeal.

Oh Ok, I guess I missed that part. Sorry, Gordon is great but he would be WR#2 on this team.

Wow, how can you say anything about class.

Denver Broncos rank third in player arrests since 2000.

Add in the illegal stuff....filming, cut blocking, illegal picks. What a joke of a comment.

So just shut about class, you don't have a clue what it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow.

Have you spent any time at all in Denver? I'm just wondering what it is about this particular city that makes you hate it so much. Here's a nice link you can use for your research:

You like the chiefs. It's no surprise you fail at talent evaluating. Gordon is good but DT is better. It's why he's got better numbers. It's why he's more polished. It's why he hasn't been suspended. It's why he wasn't put on a trading block. It's why fantasy owners snagged DT well before Gordon. It's why he was taken 1st round instead of a supplemental draft

Also, **** you.
Uh, DT has a good QB. Your "talent evaluation" needs work if you can't figure that important factoid out

I love how "illegal picks" is some sign of dirty play. Picks in the NFL have been going on for EONS.

lol yes, it's the primary way to beat man coverage, the emphasis is just on making it look unintentional. EVERY team in the league does it regularly.

Your ignorance is showing.

According to ESPN...
Quote:
The league will review Bowe for potential discipline once the case is adjudicated. The Chiefs cannot discipline Bowe under terms of the collective bargaining agreement for an apparent violation of the league's substance-abuse policy; that falls under the league's domain. read more
Bowe's court date is set for December 18. A continuance would probably push the trial back about a month, so it's possible that he won't be suspended until the beginning of next season.

The Chiefs can't suspend him but they could just let him ride the bench for a game or two. That would be foolish since he is getting paid to perform anyway and we are about to play our biggest rival for 1st place in the division. Bowe will play Sunday and my guess is he will play very hard. He did something really stupid and let his team down big time. His job is on the line now and he will want to make amends.

Bowe was suspended once for violating the "performance-enhancing drug" policy. He used a weight loss supplement that (he says he didn't know) contained a substance that is banned by the NFL. A marijuana conviction would be a violation of the "substance abuse" policy and would count as a first offense and he would be disciplined accordingly.

PFM is a better QB than the 3rd string scrubs/rookie KC has struggled against?

This matchup should go well.

Good.

If I had to go out on a limb and guess where you are from/living, I'd guess Wichita. Wichita is a fine place, if not a little boring. I hope you enjoy where you live too.

KC and DC get colder, as does NY, Boston, Chicago. Unless you are in the deep south east, Texas or the South west you get as cold or colder than Denver.

Silly complaint

Right...

Denver is 1st in red zone scoring percentage (based on TD's) and kFc is 26th
http://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat...ne-scoring-pct

kFc is the team that has about 2 90 to 80 yard drives a game but they all end up in FG's.

I still think kFc will score about 20 points (at least one of those would be defensive score) and I think we will still win by at least 2 scores, scores for Bronco fans mean TD's we don't settle for FG's.
