rofl. Still, ref should have thrown a flag. Pretty crap sportsmanship, especially for a team leader. Can't see someone like Manning or Brady doing that.

My cat does s*** like that all the time. She's just trying to be playful though. League should fine him $200k+ and/or suspend him for at least 2 games. Same goes for my cat.

I think it's funny, but he definitely should get an interference penalty of some sort...

If you're not cheating, you're not trying. lol. It would have been awesome if it had actually worked. I wonder if the Viks would have thrown the challenge flag on that.

But yep, he should have been penalized. Either a personal foul for unsportsmanlike conduct, or delay of game.

We had a RB coach that made the backs push the ball forward a full arms length before getting up. There were always a few times during the game when the ball stayed where it was pushed.

Tom Nalen talks about how he used to do this all the time. He would sometimes be able to create first downs that weren't there, and more commonly, pre-snap make it appear that defenders lined up in the neutral zone.

- too funny - mainly funny to me as it occurred right in front of 2 refs and basically all the players on the field for both teams.

The obviousness of it makes it great (I'm sure less obvious attempts at the same end-result, as Nalen and others noted, happen all the time).

I'm pretty sure that's a 5-yard delay of game penalty.
