So Broncos will play SNF two weeks in a row.

Not sure how I feel about that.

Interesting......I thought a few weeks back I had read that CBS "protected" both Chiefs/Broncos games.

Maybe they'll flex the Broncos/Pats matchup out.

I actually thought this, too.

It WOULD seem odd giving Denver back-to-back Sunday night games.

No, no, no. They better not. We have been blessed with some horrible prime time games this year.

Is this kFc's 1st or 2nd national game?

Won't this be Denver's 6th( or is it 7th? I lost count) national game.

It is not like the kFc fans will need to stay up past the 3rd quarter.

Yeah color me confused.

http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci...m-rescheduling

Quote:
As such, CBS has protected both games — one in Denver on Nov. 17, the other in Kansas City on Dec. 1 — from being rescheduled to NBC's Sunday night game. Since 2006, the league has employed a flexible scheduling policy by which NBC is permitted to select any of the Sunday afternoon games in weeks 11 through 17 to move to Sunday night. By protecting these two matchups, CBS will retain them on its slate of afternoon games.

Schefter is usually right, and I am happy about the move to prime time, but I am curious what happened.

the broncos can be on Sunday night football max 3 times, so i'm not sure why NBC would trade the Pats game......(the thursday night B-more doesn't count)

I want this game prime time! Let the entire country watch us take it to the hopefully still undefeated Chiefs!

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- ESPNís Adam Schefter is reporting that CBS has protected both games between the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos, meaning neither of those matchups can be flexed into the Sunday night television slot.

The teams, both currently 5-0, will play one another on Nov. 17 in Denver with a scheduled kickoff at 4:05 p.m. ET (3:05 CT) and on Dec. 1 at Arrowhead Stadium with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m. (noon CT).
