I want the division and the bye. Anyone who says they would rather play 3 road games instead of 2 home games or 1 home and 1 road game is nuts.

That offense is freakin sad........yesterday was the truth.

Average or better team that doesn't help them........

17 points at home........

Sure we have problems that can be fixed........KC has peaked

These KC fans can say all they want I heard them talking amonst

themselves at the bar yesterday.

They know the truth...........

When teams start taking the passing lanes away from the first 10 yards of the line of scrimmage, the Chiefs are done. Alex Smith can't and won't throw deep.

or just make tackles! There were plenty of times yesterday if the 1st defender doesn't miss Houston forces a punt.

I think it is telling that their O disappeared in the 2nd half of a home game.

I still think they could lose 6 or 7 games yet this year.

If we sweep the AFC West, then the rest will take care of itself.

Yep and now kFc has the hype of being unbeaten to add some drama to the locker room. The wheels are going to fall off spectacularly, and soon.

Don't underestimate some of those teams KC faces.
Browns and Bills for starters. Browns have a good defense actually, couple that with not turning the ball over, they might have a chance. Bills, same thing, with more potential on offense to do something good.

The browns are thinking about going to third string Jason Campbell becuse Weeden was once again god-awful. I dont see that one happening

Jason Campbell is a lot better than people think. He would be like Henne with the Jaguars, an improvement.

I see 3 losses ( @ Denver, @ Washington @ Chargers) ahead for KC......

Can we top 13-3?
Wow- I'm a big time Chiefs fan and everyone in my office would be thrilled with 13-3....I'm thinking minimum 4 losses, but I don't see 7 like someone said. After 2-14, 11-5 would be a stellar season....hoping for a split with Broncs of course!

If the Chiefs stay healthy they are probably a 13-3 team.

Denver will need to go 14-2 or sweep the Chiefs to take the division IMO.

Here's the problem: Denver doesn't have a team particularly suited for late-season runs, and Kansas City does.

I speculated before this season started that KC could be a contender. With their tough defense, strong run-game, and play-it-safe passing, they're perfectly lined up for those cold-weather, rough and tumble games that come about as the year progresses.

The Broncos absolutely need to get their run-game going to take some pressure of Manning or I think we'll just see a repeat of last year's results. Right now, I'm just worried that there's a growing blueprint on how to beat Denver. We saw glimpses of it with a terrible Jaguars exhibition, and Indianapolis put it on display last night.

I agree with you on this. My post came out wrong when my tablet died. I meant to say they were "thinking" about it but will probably go with Weeden.
Weeden is a disaster

"Updating an earlier item, the Browns have yet to decide on their Week 8 quarterback.

The word comes straight from the team. CBS' Jason La Canfora reported earlier Monday that they were sticking with Brandon Weeden. It's quite possible that will remain the case, but the Browns are wisely opting against immediately announcing Weeden will get another chance. Weeden was Tyler Palko-level bad against a Packers defense riddled with backups on Sunday. However, backup Jason Campbell was similarly inept for the Bears in 2012. We'd guess Weeden ultimately gets one more start."
