It's sad . The possible final image of Champ here in Denver may be being yelled at like a rookie by JDR

Someone needs to yell and Del Rio for putting Ayers in coverage

Because it worked so well against Baltimore I guess he just had to go to the well again

Even the careers of great ones must end at some point.

Would like to see official word. I hope he isn't lost for the season.

Kayvon Webster is the present and future, dude looks solid. Mile high salute for Champ but his playing days are done.

his season is probably done, but I would be fine with the team giving him a low number deal next season. I don't think he should cover the oppositions best, but he can still contribute in a smaller capacity.

He gets paid this year even if he never plays another down. Plus if its a lisFranc that ends his career he gets an injury settlement later. No way is he going to not have to take a significant ( as in 80%) cut if he wants to try to play again next year, and if he doesn't agree then Denver will have to release him. And with the injury he may never be able to play at anywhere near the previous level.

I'm sorry to see a great player end like that but it is the most likely scenario. Thanks for all the great plays over the last ten years, Champ. Heal up and be healthy. And if you can help us come playoff time then maybe we'll still see you this year.

Champ was giving it right back to JDR for his **** calls and schemes.

Far as I am concerned there are bigger issues than Champ being out. The pass rushing is almost nonexistent.

I respect your football takes but you and the rest saying a guy that had a bad game is now over and done are just plain stooopid

and you know it.

You just don't throw a switch and its over.........heard not one complaint all last regular season about the guy.

You guys should be ashamed of yourself.......

When Champ hopped out on that play I said to myself "well ****, that's the last of Champ".

Really hope not, as I think a healthy Champ would still be good for us, but doesn't bode well.
