He was hitting them prior to today. But yeah, Miami got spanked.

In one game he went 4-6 other than that he hasn't been too good. He is a 33% 3pt shooter which isn't very good.

Bosh for whatever reason seems to struggle vs Indy.

He only averaged 11 PPG in the 4 regular season matchups.

True, but he needs to hit outside shots otherwise he's useless against Hibbert. He'll have better games this series

Indy doesn't adjust to Miami, they just play their game and force the opponent to play their game.
Similar to how the Seahawks run their D.
When guarded one on one and keyed in on as a primary target Bosh is less effective, he needs to have Wade and LeBron draw doubles so his match up is more favorable.

Good game by the Pacers. They hit their shots, moved the ball around, and were unselfish. They were attacking at will in the paint. It was just too easy. They played an excellent game.

Miami could never get close, they would go on a small run and the Pacers countered every time. Heat need to move the ball around and attack the rim on offense. It worked well when the did. They relied too heavily on long jumpers today(including 3 ball), and they were not falling. Will they do the same rotations game 2 and hope for more 3 balls to fall? We shall see. Playing small ball works if you hit better from 3pt range(9-26). Can it counter the huge liability on the defensive end?

I wouldn't mind seeing a lineup of James, Wade, Battier/Allen/JJ, Birdman, CB1/UD.

I think in this series running CB1 at C, LBJ at PF is just not going to work. Maybe for short stretches, but not a consistent lineup. It's too overmatched on the defensive end.

Would rather see James move to the point and bring in UD/CB1 along with Birdman with rotations of the 3 playing PF/C. Backcourt rotations of Wade/Allen/Battier/JJ at the small forward/2guard.

The King will have to play incredible to pull this series out. Today wasn't it. The liability on defense just might be too much to overcome. We shall see.

Yep, Indy is one of the few teams in the league who have the perimeter defenders to play Wade/James 1 on 1, and and just got 1 on 1 across the board and not help 90% of the time.

Lance/George do as good of a job on Wade/James as you can ask for.

They are fine against them. The meat down low is the problem on defense. The Heat do not have an answer for it.

Which is how they can guard them 1 on 1 with no help on D.

Thats not what i meant, Indy has the defenders on the perimeter to play them straight up without hedging.

While most other teams do not.

Not having Ibaka is gonna be the backbone of this series.

SA got WAY too many easy looks last night at the rim.

Not sure they win even with Ibaka but no way in hell Duncan has that kinda game with Ibaka in there.

Probably will, although interesting point.

Wade had his best game of the playoffs, and they still lost, might do it again but thats a small, small thing to be concerned with.

I would guess Haslem starts for Battier.

Thats picking on something very anecdotal. Indiana shot 50+ percent from the field and the heat spent a majority of the time fouling them (the foul shot disparity was insane). Miami always seems to adjust, and I expect them to. But if Indy comes out hitting those J's like they did last game, watch out.
