How much money will Radio City lose? Dumbasses

Albeit I really like the rotating draft city idea a lot.

I think we need to draft QB from UCLA in the 2nd and sell Osweiller for picks. Just saying.

I honestly think that may be a strong possibility in the offseason. Os is going to be due for a new deal and if Peyton is playing at least another 2 years I can't see the team letting Os potentially leave to a new team without some sort of compensation. Only way that Os remains in Denver and we don't draft a new potential QBOTF is if Os is happy to sit on the bench at least another 2 seasons and sign a very modest extension. To me that seems doubtful. Generally QB is one of the most competitive players on the field. If Os were happy to sit on the bench and not take a shot at becoming a starter somewhere even if it wasn't in Denver, I don't know if I would want him to be our QBOTF.

Ever been to New York? It's not like Radio City will be sitting empty on draft weekend. They will probably actually make more $$$ without the NFL.

But yes, rotating the site is best. I wouldn't travel to NYC for the draft but I'll go if its ever in Denver.

I am mildly interested in going, only problem is that we will be drafting so late I don't know if I could sit there that long then drive home unless I could get a ride.

I would assume the Broncos would take another QB this draft given Oz being a FA after next season and Manning the year after that.

I don't know much about the subject, is it possible to give Oz a new contract for like 1-2 Mil a year, but if he starts then his salary jumps up?

Last year, Radio City (apparently) couldnt accommodate the NFL's normal schedule because of the "spring spectacular" show or something...it was so popular they cancelled it due to crappy sales.

If the Broncos feel good enough about his development under Manning and what he has shown in practice and behind the scenes where we don't get a look, I would like to think they'd consider offering him some sort of extension beyond his rookie deal. We will just have to wait and see. Is there a similar situation you or anyone else can think of that parallels this?

Exactly what I was thinking. The only similar case is Favre and Rodgers although Favre was not at the level Manning is at.

Very interesting case study for sure to see if Os actually turns out to become the Broncos starter in 2 years (or whenver Peyton calls it)
