![]() I even hope he loses his job to the rookie and is done in the NFL. Then he can drink to his hearts content. The party life of the NFL was always more important to DJ then winning a Superbowl. Sorry if as a fan I sort of want the players to sell out to win football games. You know like Romonowski did. While other Broncos went out to party before Superbowl he was in the pool stretching, working out, thinking about destroying the other team.
Had DJ ever made the Superbowl he would be out partying getting drunk, because, like he said that is what he does. |

![]() CTD, tell us again how a preseason game showed you the Broncos were done and "not even good" this season.
Also, you suck. |

This daily gorging pales next to that of Bill Romanowski, the former linebacker. In his 2005 autobiography, “Romo: My Life on the Edge,” Romanowski writes that he kept a tackle box filled with some 500 pills and would take handfuls a day, all washed down with protein shakes. He also famously admits to taking vials of THG, an anabolic steroid, but most of what he consumed were legal supplements available at any Walgreens or GNC store. More here: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/03/04/sp...pagewanted=all You must love KM as well as the 2 other Bronco staffers and player who were busted for DUI this offseason. |

![]() I like to imagine that the people who rush to crucify athletes for their failures off the field also do so for their coworkers, family members, friends, etc when they make horrible decisions or develop problems in life.

![]() DJ always had all the physical talent in the world. Non stop position changes, new DC's and his lack of complete dedication to the game (parties/drinking problems) are what held him back. A what could have been type of player. He's still had a solid career in spite of all this though. That's what makes it suck to think about what he could have achieved.

![]() DJ is a good person. He always went the extra mile for people he trusted (and he never trusted the media for reasons very early in his athletic spotlight); believe me. He admittedly made mistakes. But dude got hurt, and it sucks. He was playing very well.

![]() DJ Williams biggest problem was always his penchant for running around blocks instead of fighting through them. Sometimes in the NFL you have to fight.

![]() Sorry he got injured, but I'm glad he's not in Denver - too much waiting around for him to do something on the field - and the excuses his fans (based ONLY on where he went to school, sheesus Miami players aren't that good anymore, anyway) came up with - "well they're making him be something he's not" - "if only he could play where he's supposed to play" - "too bad he had to play all those positions"
well, DJ why didn't you IMPRESS the coaches enough to STAY in one spot? Some players, like WW seem to EXCEL at ALL LB positions, nobody has to whine about how he's been shat upon by the coaches, making him play somewhere he doesn't feel comfortable. DJ drafted #17 and nobody ever cried about this when he was completely average in all respects- yet Knowshon drafted only 5 picks earlier and he was a bust because (a) he isn't Terrell Davis or Clinton Portis or (b) he gets hurt sometimes during the season - like every other RB in the league. FTR, I don't care about DJ's dymelife hoo hah - I'm only talking about his prowess on the field as an NFL linebacker - if he was judged on the knowshon scale, you'd have to declare him a bust. |

![]() Literally the opposite of what he predicted. CTD is like our own Bob except he wishes for other players to get injured...oh wait that's Bob too.

Surely you can come up with an argument against him as a player that doesn't involve distorting reality. Williams was a stud at weakside linebacker and should have won defensive rookie of the year. He was definitely not 'completely average' there. |
