Lol.

But yeah. When we can't figure out Twitter. We are officially old. I actually searched to see if there is a Twitter for dummies book. There is.

So true. "Lets take the most irritating and self-indulgent part of Facebook and make an entire site devoted to it. Let's also make sure that there is a character limit so that everyone that doesn't already HAS to type like they're retarded."

While McCoy is the better RB. Moreno is on the better team(By far!) and he's not exactly a slouch. There's a reason why he's on the field for key downs and why Manning always looks his way.

twitter was swell during the Peyton Manning watch. it has its uses.

on a semirelated or unrelated note, Moreno has been an incredibly vital cog to this team's success thus far this year. I'm glad he's a Bronco

Wholeheartedly agree. Dialogue isn't one of them, though.

AMEN! That being said, I hate everything about twitter that makes twitter popular. Like hashtags (its a ****ing pound sign you idiot), most re-tweets of things people say, and mostly people.

As a quick bite news source, its unbeatable though.

Lotta old people acting like old people up in here. Twitter is pretty cool and useful if you don't treat it like some Luddite looking at a loom.

Here is a pretty funny Retweet and comment from the Jacksonville Jaguars organization:

Stay classy, Denver. RT @DenverBroncos: The #Broncos' 51 points in yesterday's win are as many points as the Jaguars have scored all season.

So that this clear for everyone here, the Broncos posted that they scored 51 points, they put a pound sign on Broncos so that it could be searchable. The jaguars Retweeted (RT) this and added the comment that Denver should stay classy. That is sarcasm.

Don't need to give a bad team chalkboard motivation. They know they are the worst team right now and also know they can show the world they are professionals still by upsetting Goliath.

as an addendum for folks, the Stay classy line is a line popularized by a Movie called Anchorman and the sarcastic use of it above is the preferred use.

I just recently deleted my twitter account. Just wasn't into letting everyone know where/what I was doing 24/7.

That being said, I run my breweries twitter account and it is a vital cog to our marketing. Social media is an amazing tool if you use it right.

To the topic, I think Moreno's response was great. Classy and still a little funny.

Twitter, FB, etc aren't going anywhere. They are here to stay, at least until the revolution that will happen at some point in the next 3-5 generations.

Social Media is an incredibly disruptive force in the world - along with cloud, big data, and mobile tech - it fuels the digital industrial complex.

(Can you tell I'm at a Gartner conference?).

If they don't mess with the formats it can last a long time. But There's less people who use FB today than 2-3 years ago(a lot that I know have stopped using it) They said The same thing about MySpace.

MySpace was flawed from the getgo because, while it was social media, it wasn't a social tool. Good for stalking and what not, but horrible for sharing information. I assume FB is here to stay for a while. Corporate America has completely embraced it and there's much more use on FB than twitter. I dont think they'll mess with the format TOO much, the beauty of both are their simplicity.

You don't say? So all those "Stay Classy" posts with Will Ferrell dressed up in 70s garb is really from a movie called Anchorman? We learn something new from these recharged, September newbies everyday!
