This! I kept thinking there was a flag on far too many plays.

The should just have hot women with large breasts parade around the stadium in pink bikinis for the entire month.

Yep. I actually shove anthrax into my ass once a week to prevent prostate cancer.

Look, it's important and I support the awareness but if you REALLY want me to get behind it and do something have the cheerleaders go topless for a month. I'll support the **** out of whatever they want at that point.

Typical marketing scheme by Herr Goodall that is way over the top......I've been sick of this whole "pink" thing for years already. But you got to admit it goes hand in hand w/ his whole pussification of the NFL...

It has gotten out of control. A little pink is ok what they have now is a travesty. More pink doesn't mean you support it more.

It's all just about marketing so they can sell more pink jerseys.

What a coincidence! I shove cocaine up my ass once a month and cross the border. Which goes to show you why you should never get in debt to a Mexican drug cartel. But hey, what's this world coming to when you can't trust a shady back alley poker game on the Mexican border with members of a drug cartel?

It's only a matter of time before the NFL requires teams to wear logos on their helmets with pink involved in the color scheme. Imagine a pink Chicago C, or a pink mane on our helmets.

I can almost guarantee someone has already had this idea and run it up the chain. The Titans had pink outlining the team name in their end zones yesterday!

It's just overkill. A patch on the jersey, a sticker on the helmet, and pink shoes if the player wants 'em, that should really be enough. Especially for an entire month.

It's a money maker for the NFL and for the breast cancer awareness people. One whole month is way over the top but I seriously doubt the NFL will scale it down...

It IS a money maker for the NFL but for breast cancer, they make pennies on the NFL dollar.

Estee Lauder makes buckets of cash off of the Pink Ribbon campaigns. The unfortunate thing is that so little of the money they make actually goes to Breast Cancer research. Both organizations are making tons off of it. I did a ton of research into this when the doctors thought I had breast cancer (yep, I'll reiterate I'm a dude) about 4 years ago. I was lucky and it was not but I was still put through all the exams and tests.

I don't think players having to wear pink raises Breast Cancer awareness anymore than any other PR move.

Love that Manning told pink to **** off yesterday. Except for the little ribbon on his helmet.

I'm not sure exactly how it works (in regards to fund raising and whatnot) but it puts the issue front and center. There's nothing more popular than the NFL, there's probably nothing even close, and if every player is wearing something pink, the conversation is unavoidable.

Does this really bother people that much? Other than the towel/flag snafu, I don't notice the difference. Plus, i think it gives a very rough/macho sport, a sensitive edge. It's a cool solidarity thing.

What if I don't want a sensitive edge to football. They've all but handed out skirts to the player as is.

They've even invaded LL Baseball . All the umps are wearing pink.

Why does it bother you so much? Who gives a ****? It's not like they are making the players slap on a pair of boobies and read US weekly instead of playing football.

Jim Bob Cooter: We need to talk about your pink.

Peyton: Really? I... I have fifteen pieces on. I, also...

Jim Bob Cooter: Well, okay. Fifteen is the minimum, okay?

Peyton: Okay.

Jim Bob Cooter: Now, you know it's up to you whether or not you want to just do the bare minimum. Or... well, like Brock, for example, has thirty seven pieces of pink, okay. And a terrific smile.

Peyton: Okay. So you... you want me to wear more?

Jim Bob Cooter: Look. Peyton.

Peyton: Yeah.

Jim Bob Cooter: People can get football anywhere, okay? They come to the Broncos for the atmosphere and the attitude. Okay? That's what the pink's about. It's about fun.

Peyton: Yeah. Okay. So more then, yeah?

Jim Bob Cooter: Look, we want you to express yourself, okay? Now if you feel that the bare minimum is enough, then okay. But some people choose to wear more and we encourage that, okay? You do want to express yourself, don't you?

Peyton: Yeah, yeah.

Jim Bob Cooter: Okay. Great. Great. That's all I ask.

....

Peyton: You know what, Jim, if you want me to wear 37 pieces of pink, like your pretty boy over there, Brock, why don't you just make the minimum 37 pieces of pink?

Jim Bob Cooter: Well, I thought I remembered you saying that you wanted to express yourself.

Peyton: Yeah. You know what, yeah, I do. I do want to express myself, okay. And I don't need 37 pieces of pink to do it.

I didn't make any of my boys wear pink Sat. The pink batting gloves stayed in the box. thank you very much

My girls softball team went crazy with it. I joined in.

Was really hoping to see some leaks today about how the NFL will change this as they realized that someones head was completely up their arse when the pink ref flags were approved.
