Default Kudos To Clark

That young guy is doing work. We really haven't missed a beat since Clady caught the lisfranc.

Yeah, I'm pretty impressed with him so far. He's done way better than I expected.

or when Champ or Miller were out either. I think there is only one indispensable player on this team.

Clark has had an excellent game!!!

Also, how about that entire offensive line run blocking in beast mode today.

No he sucks, you have to go read last weeks stupid callout thread (thread not poster) by Vegas Bronco. It's all about the film apparently.

- ..see the 'running game' thread also where it shows the film. It's Clark's play today we are talking about in this thread- which was superb. You must win friends everywhere you go- posting in game threads during the game instead of attending with 'all your friends'.

Watched him look pretty damned dominant about 3 plays in a row and wanted to talk about him.

I think Vegas Bronco is a Cardinals fan. If he is he must be pretty smart.

While the biggest story in Denver remains the phenomenal play of Manning as the Broncos roll along undefeated, itís worth pointing out how good a job left tackle Chris Clark (+3.4) has done as a starter these past two weeks. Given how important it is to keep Manning free from pressure on the edges, the fact that he has come in these past two weeks and allowed just a single hit and quarterback hurry is a real testament to just how well heís playing. An undrafted free agent out of Southern Mississippi back in 2008, Clark is getting the opportunity to showcase himself as a starter for the first time, and is certainly proving himself worthy.

On Sunday he spent much of the game lined up against Philadelphia Eagles outside linebacker Trent Cole and, while Cole would come away with two hurries, neither came against Clark. Furthermore, Cole, who has made a name for himself as one of the better run defenders in the league, was held to his lowest grade against the run this season. He may not have been dominant, but Clark more than held his own against one of the leagueís best in that regard. However, itís his play as a pass protector thatís landed him here. After all, you canít ask for much more in pass protection than a perfect day with no pressure allowed.

Tougher test this week, but man has he overperformed my expectations thus far.

Did you give him any water? Or was he one of the ones who was met with hesitation and "the eye"?

He can have all the water he wants now.

He has been a stub so far. I'm pretty shocked with how well Rameriz and Clark have been playing.

Ramirez and Louis V are really in playing in sync and repping well the 'LatinOline'.

The whole Oline has been the anchor on this team so far allowing the Surgeon General to do his magic in relative peace.

He's playing well, under contract to be a solid backup going forward, and can be traded for the right price going forward. I just don't want any whiffs again. Hold or tackle the guy if you have to next time.
