Default Eagles - An Endangered Species

Sorry it came so late. Crazy week!

Hard to clip a sample since it's pretty thorough and long this week but lots of talk regarding Bailey, too.

Anyway:

How to Stop Chip Kelly's Innovative-for-High-School-Sports Offense:

Just add Altitude. The best part is that Pillsbury Dough-Boy looking dip**** decided to fly in late as opposed to getting acclimated. Enjoy the second half!

This defense (pic taken from the article here - as a side note, check this guy's work out, Bronco fans. Bronco Mike's doing some amazing work over at MileHighReport):

Here we find a nickel defense in a traditional 43 look where unheralded yet demi-god like beast Chris Harris is playing more of a traditional Sam backer role than a corner. Ayers (7 tech), Knighton (1), Vickerson (3) and Wolfe (Wide-9) have the size up front to bully Philly's offensive line and helps aid this level of versatility--next week I plan to examine this defense wide versatility with more depth and clarity. For now, here's the score card on Chris Harris:

Perimeter corner? Check

Inside corner? Check

Safety? Check

Sam Backer? Check

No huddle, no substitutions? No problem.

I hope it's as easy as you are making it out to be. Article peaked early with this:

Kudos for working Gilgamesh into it. Pretty awesome.

I'd give the Eagles a couple of big plays if it means blowing up Vick on the option. I wonder why that hasn't happened yet.

I'll be shocked if the Iggles can get around the outside on these Broncos. JTF.
Just too fast.

I don't think the Eagles have 10-20 days to acclimate. Football isn't an endurance sport either and if you can't acclimate because you don't have the time it is best to show up late as possible. I can think of two teams that did that off the top of my head and it didn't effect them at all. 2005 Pittburgh and last year Baltimore.

not to mention they have oxygen available on the sidelines......the reason Denver has a pretty good home field advantage is that their opponents let it get inside their heads.....oh and Denver usually has some pretty good teams too.

It's actually pretty common now to see oxygen available at almost any game in the NFL. Probably used way more in Denver as far as guys hitting it more often but I've seen it used almost everywhere.

Aside from going 3-3 ATS so far, nailed everything else.

Again.
