It's just a game. Respect another human being. It's not that hard.

Philly fans believe the Rocky movies are their personal life story. Their sports franchises are an extension of them. So when the team fails, they fail and lash out like drunken hose beasts.

Stupid ****s.

To add to that, and it's not a generalization. But the East Cities in any sport is very brutal about their teams.

It's not a good thing. I remember hanging out with KC fans that put their Winnebago at old mile high. Sharing their food and beer hours before gametime.

Note: BOB is not one of them. I refuse to include him in the cool group I hadv associated with. The fans I met would be ashamed of Bob

This could be their equivalent to our whole "How many points do we lose by" threads.

If Bob is really a Chiefs fan then I am the world's biggest womanizer.

I grew up near DC and went to High School in a suburb of Pittsburgh. The eastern teams...Pittsburgh fans are brutal. The day of the AFC Championship game for the 1997 season, I take my mom to work. Giant Eagle had Levon Kirkland and Jerome Bettis crap all over the place. Kordell Stewart jerseys hanging over the aisles. Typical playoff team stuff. Every other song on the radio was "Pittsburgh's goin to the superbowl, I've got a feeling" or "win one for the thumb". Which rank right up there in stupid assholishness with Hail to the Redskins.

The game comes on. Denver wins 24-21. I go to pick my mom up from work right after the game. 15 minutes later, the Steeler stuff is down, and Penguin stuff replaced it. It was like the Steelers did not exist. And I made sure to wear my Broncos jacket when I went in to walk her out. My mom wore a Broncos hat to work that day, caught a ton of **** for it...until the Broncos won. ****ers. But my mom said the few people that came up to the deli counter would not let her wait on them. So she had a decent afternoon not serving Eisley's Chipped Ham.

I thought that too, but the undercurrent of disgusted rage was too real. They are fans of a team they hate.

We do it to appease the mojo gods. Totally different.

I'm going to game with 3 Eagles fans today.... They are down on their team like no tomorrow... I just hope thy dont want to leave early if the Broncos start to roll...

I think this one will be tighter than expected.... We still win, but it won't be a blowout... And I think a tight game would do our team some good to be honest...

It's tough to live in the shadow of the other Pennsylvania team and their own City of Brotherly Love moto.
