Topic - Keys to success against Denver

"The keys to success in Denver are that another team should play them because our team will be decimated"

"Anyone thinking there is even a remote chance at "success @ Denver" needs to have their head examined."

"it's going to be very, very, ugly"

...and my personal favorite...

"Keys to Success: Peyton Manning has the flu and doesn't play."

Wow. I guess a prerequisite for being an Eagle fan is undying pessimism.

The "Chip going to Mile High Stadium is like a home game" made me lulz.

The Eagles haven't won anything in NFL in some time. Getting to the Super Bowl for the first time since Vermeil's first go around was last thing of note they've done. Their fans are understandably negative.

Losing three NFC Championship Games, two as home favorites, during the Reid/McNabb era didn't help matters. The home loss to Tampa really stung them, much like our playoff defeats to the Jaguars and Ravens.

I'll be at the Eagles bar in Pittsburgh's Southside, looking forward to it!!!
One if my good friends is a Philly fan ... He holds little hope that his team can even keep up for 2 quarters! (He says Vick is still their weakest link!)

Should make for a Fun day Sunday!

They were like that when they were racking up NFCCG appearances too.

Funniest quote in there:

"I suggest having Nate Allen take Peyton's knees out while he's in the huddle calling the next play. Manning is out for the game and Allen is ejected. It is a veritable 2 for 1 for the Eagles."

I think the negativity is just a Philly thing. Eagles fans are always getting their hopes crushed in the playoffs. They actually have the 4th most playoff wins this millennium. The last time the eagles were so close to the SB was the moment DeSean Jackson scored on DRC to put the Eagles up in the 4th quarter of the NFCCG.

Hmm, you will be the 2nd "Down Under" fan to lose his life while on the Mane.

Douchiest fans in the league. Even worse than Raider fans.

My housemate is an Eagles fan and I'm also playing him in fantasy this week.

I could see a few snowballs and that's all fun and stuff but that non-stop stuff was pathetic. Not sure but I thought one of them was a woman. Only douche fans would keep drilling a woman with snowballs. And of course no honorable Philly male fan would walk down there after it got out of hand and stood next to them.

It was an older couple, maybe even elderly. Not exactly sure what age, but they looked to be around 60. Real classy fans here in Philthy

The crazy thing is they all whine that their fans get a bad rap. I thought the Chiefs game was a bit of step in the right direction when they gave him a standing ovation...and then they started brawl in the stands at the end of the game.
