I expect half this board to be limping at work tomorrow after pulling their hammies jumping on the Moreno bandwagon.

Here's hoping he can stay healthy. He provides enough of a threat in the run game to keep defenses honest, and that's all we really need.

When he has the ball in his hands, I relax a bit. When Ball or Hillman has it, I'm thinking... Oh God.. just please don't fumble.

Guy is invaluable to us.

Neither Ball or Hillman look ready to handle a large load yet, and Knowshon is a solid, well rounded back who doesn't fumble the ball often.

He's not a game winner, but he doesn't need to be in this offense.

Protect Peyton, don't fumble. Both massive in this offense. And two things I trust Knowshon with more than Ball or Hillman.

Until Ball fumbles again I'm going to assume that was an anomaly. Dude had crazy good ball security in college.

Yeah he needs to be re-signed

Dude is the starter, sucks we sunk a 2nd and 3rd into backup RBs but at least we have depth there

Let him tote the rock until he gets hurt

Ball just doesnt excite me. I would like to see some attempts to get hillman the ball in the open field.

Bummed the KM couldnt get over 100 yards, esp in garbage time.

Knowshon didn't miss a single game to injury in college.

Yeah and Decker never dropped a ball in college basically. I know that stuff doesn't always translate.

That's the best I've seen him look and I've criticized him plenty in the past.

I'm on board. I have always felt he is our best option of our three backs. I think he is solid enough for this offense. We only need solid

He ran hard because it was his homecoming! I remember when he used to run up and down the field in high school. Watching him live today got me pumped again.

This. He had a nice game, ran hard and has proved to be an above average blocker and receiver. That block on the JT catch was vicious and legal too.

On sort of a related note, I'm concerned that Ball seemed to have no burst today and the one decent run he had he fumbled. And that fumble had less contact than either of Hillman's preseason fumbles that got him in the doghouse. Yes, he's a rookie, but he looked awful today.

IMO Save Knowshon vs the dwellers from Oakland. Just give Hillman and Ball all the reps. They need em.
