That's just crazy. We got a couple of 4"/day rain here this year and the flooding was everywhere.

the drainage isn't designed for this kind of rain

Yeah it's pretty bad. The soil here is clay and we're almost considered a desert so we don't do well with large amounts of rain here. It's really coming down right now and is supposed to rain through midnight and rain until Sunday. Next week it will be sunny all week and into the low 80's though. Just got to get through it.

If we were playing at home, it would be rainy this week. It looks like it's going be cloudy and 70 in the Meadowlands on Sunday. We definitely dodged a bullet there.

Boulder is a big disaster area right now. We have rivers flowing through our neighbor's yard, unknown where the water is coming from, streets are lakes right now.

Anyone know what it's like at SH 119 and Jay road just north of boulder?

I'm in Julesburg now but was hoping that with the rain and now with the soft dirt I could easily slam in my 200 delineators over there and be done with that damn job.

I live just west of there, it really depends on local drainage conditions. Our house is fine but others in the area are sweating it. It seems like it's draining a bit better now than at 5ish this morning.

I can remember the Big Thompson Canyon flood in 1976, it killed over 140 people.

That's way before the hippie liberals were beating the global warming drum ........

Rained for the last two days in So Co too. Backyard is a giant mudpit. Driveway a river. It's coming in waves, right now the clouds are breaking up and you can see some sun, but its supposed to rain through tomorrow here.

Thank God this is not a month or so from now when all of this would be 4 damn feet of snow.

The first sunny day after this there will be a news story about how we are still in a drought.

lulz. Not really, but definitely continue to play the victim card.

The "Thanks Obama" meme is funny specifically because of the right's dedication to routinely make up **** to blame him for. THAT is the difference.

Now, if we could keep politics out of it, that would be marvelous. I'm on my way to help a buddy dry out his basement, and there are a lot more just like him.

Nah...it's exactly the same. Nuckleheads literally charged Bush with hurricane Katrina. Saying he caused the hurricanes by not supporting AGW.

Google "Bush to blame for Syria"

Scroll

Laugh

Then remember that you're wrong, and it's rather sad.
