Love them.

I won't lie and say I am not nervous. After coming back from being down 2 I thought the Avs would do way better in the 3rd. The wild are a physical team. A dirty b**** as team, but a physical team none the less.

Go Avs.

Yep. We had them down and backed off. Should have pushed harder in the third

The Can will be going bonkers in game 7, players will feed off that. If nothing else, it's more experience for studs like Mackinnon. Can't believe that kid is 18, redicules.

Its unreal, and while it would pretty disappointing now if they don't move on its still a huge leap for a team that was pond scum a year ago.

A lot of young players getting to feel playoffs pressure. I totally agree on Mackinnon, the only way I can tell he is 18 is that damn peach fuzz playoff beard.

Kings and sharks are going to 7.

Sharks have a lot of pressure on them and their jimmies are rustled. Haha

Their jimmies are definitely rustled. I wouldn't be shocked if the Kings won....the Sharks are reverting back to what they usually so in the playoffs.

I don't have a good enough eye for defensive play to say much, but it does feel the Avs are particularly bad this series at shooting through traffic from the top of the offensive zone. Always blocked by the defender right in front of them. They're almost always better off not even trying and just dumping behind the net to let the forwards try threading passes from up close.

I miss Tyson Barrie...

No, he is our best defender and has been money in this series.
Our problem is Barrie going down. We lack another legitimate puck mover.
Johnson is a guy who shots and passes, he does not set the table on offense.
Barrie is less pure shooter and more pace the offense and keep it moving cleanly.
Barrie helped us move the puck at a efficient pace. Since he has gone down our puck movement and possession has been sloppy and clumsy.

We turn the puck over in front of our own net, we try to make long passes and end up getting them deflected off of Wild players, we float pucks over and allow them to get intercepted.

Duchene being back helps but we need him operating at a full pace and we have to be extremely aggressive.
Most of what we did last night was Sacco hockey. Dump and chase.

Sharks will continue the goalie musical chairs, starting Neimi for game 7.

Tyson Barrie was playing at an elite level and making the Avs offense work before he went out.

There's a reason he was targeted.

While I agree with your assessment of EJ on this team (though he hasnt been exactly money this series), that doesn't mean his is that good overall. He is fitting into our #1D role but in reality, he is a 2nd pairing guy.

Wouldn't be shocked if PIT and COL had some offseason discussions about Despres. He is a nice young offensive defenseman that the staff hates for some reason. He is gonna be a second pairing DMan that should consistently put up 30-35 points a year with some more seasoning.

Game 7s are usually tight, conservatively schemed games. The Sharks are chokers but I don't see them losing 4 in a row after being up 3-0. That is just too rare, things will start to balance out for them, just as they did for LA earlier. I wouldn't be shocked if you won, but it's more unlikely than likely.

We'll see, I don't know how much confidence, if any, that Niemi has now. He's been pulled out of two games and sat out of one in favor of the backup. Sharks are tough at home, but they've been unhinged for the last three games and are facing a ton of pressure to not blow this.

That and I think the Kings veterans are very determined to win.

Interested to see what happens tomorrow for all 3 games.

Preparing my second round picks for the possible series........no sweeps again.
