I wouldn't doubt it either. Both teams are extremely tough at home. Worried a tad about the goalie situation, though.

Everybody expected the Kings to roll over and die when they got down 0-3, me included after the first 3 games. How could you not? They could have won game 3 in OT but a fluke goal for the Sharks gave them the win. It could easily be Kings in the series lead, 3-2.

Kings are very good at home and just need to win tonight. If they do, anything can happen in game 7, and the pressure will totally be on the Sharks not to completely blow it.

Go Kings Go!

I am not talking about after game 3, I am talking about before the series started. If you want to point fingers at why Kings started out as a major choke job (not just losing but their horrible defense), look no further than Melrose aka Kiss of Death. Talking the Kings up over the Ducks before the playoffs started. He is worse than being on the cover of SI.

It wasn't Melrose, the Kings tried to match the Sharks in a foot race trying to get to the other end of the ice quickly, but all that did was result in turnovers and that gave the Sharks the multitude of odd man rushes in the first two games. That since has been corrected, and the Kings have gone back to playing their game. Playing more structured defensively, and also have stepped up their physicality. Quick is also playing better, and that's always good to see. I was at game 4, the Kings clearly got into the Sharks head at the end of the game, while the Kings players on the bench were laughing at them.

Kings are playing with more confidence, and the Sharks are going the other way...losing confidence and panic is about to set in, if not already. They are changing goalies and are probably without Vlasic for a period of time.

Like I said it goes to game 7, all of the pressure shifts over to the Sharks.

And now the Sharks are starting a goalie with zero playoff games started! This series has game 7 all over it.

Minnesota is riding the surge of the home crowd.
They got a lucky goal and punched us in the mouth. We didn't fold so we should be in good shape. But we have to come out strong in the next period.

What a chance of luck with Statnsy's goal. That was beauty. Gave the Avs some life.

Staring down the barrel of 0-3 with the two man disadvantage, huge play by O'Reilly and Stastny to swing the game back open on the shorty.

Box score shows Duchene logged 6 mins, hopefully he keeps getting his legs under him and is ready to add to the offensive push by the 3rd.

A little luck, but skill to have the presence of mind to get that puck to Stastny.

Our offense really needed Duchene. He makes this team a lot more dangerous. Seeing him logging the second most minutes among the forwards is also great to see.

Powerplay has been a lot better. Almost like they're 6 on 5.
