The wild are just hitting them right in the mouth at the red line and the Avs have absolutely no answer. I'm not sure what happened, but this team is playing like a bunch of absolute wimps.

It's really like the Avs circa 2003. You beat them up and they fold like a tent. Hopefully they can find something here in the 3rd.

Can't get control of the puck in the offensive zone for more than one pass.

just brutal.....avs can't play much worse, but lose both games by one goal.

That really sucked. One team was a finesse team and one wasn't. Barrie added a level of toughness that is missing horribly. Cooke can let his team dominate us and come back for the next series smiling all the way. I hope he gets brain cancer.

Varlomov was the only reason the Avs weren't outscored 10-1 in these two games. Injuries and lack of defensive depth are taking it's toll...

I'm going to say that standing around waiting for someone to make a play has cost the avs the last two games. the wild are not even on the same planet as far as talent goes, but they are playing great as a group.

**** that. If Cooke didn't hurt Barrie we'd have swept their asses.

Not buying it. Barrie is a nice player, but he's not the difference in a series. No way.

The Avs were being absolutely dominated when Barrie went down in Game 3. In reality this is the lack of playoff experience coming home to roost. They simply haven't dealt with being absolutely knocked in the mouth before.

Reminds me of another Colorado sports franchise in the playoffs.

They gave up 22 shots in the first period of game 3. Their shlt was getting pushed in before Barrie went out.

That was a dominating performance by Minnesota last night.

Avs looked lost, and had zero intensity.

They are on the same talent level if not above when you factory in we are without Duchene, Mitchell, Tanguay, Barrie, and Sarich.

I can't believe everyone is so surprised. In the Stanley Cup playoffs the difference in winning and losing a series is so small, when you have a couple injuries it makes it tough. I thought the Avs were behind the 8 ball before the series started with Duchene, Mitchell, Tanguay, and Sarich out and Parenteau playing hurt. Barrie was the straw that broke the camel's back.

So frustrating cause if healthy we wipe the floor with them.

The script for the Blues is eerily similar to last year:

Draws the defending Stanley Cup Champs in round 1.
Game 1: Wins on a Steen OT goal
Game 2: Wins on Jackman game winning goal
Game 3: Lose in a shutout
Game 4: Lose 4-3
Game 5: Lose 3-2 in OT

So if it holds true, the Hawks should win game 6 2-1.

Yeah, played more D and less O under Hunter because he was asked to. Moved to RW under Oates even though he'd never played it because he was asked to. Total ****ing coach killer.
