Looks as though Colorado *maybe* looking at moving Mcginn .. and we are also looking at a possible way to aquire Kulikov from Florida
Jeff had a great Rookie campaign, but concussions really skewed his development. Muller took him under his wing this offseason, and worked with him on developing a 2 way game. After he got back from his hand injury they put him on the first line wing, and he just started playing like Sidney Crosby. I'm shocked honestly, I feel like I'm watching a completely different player, its amazing. He used to cherry pick and then get really cute with the way he penitrated the zone resulting in turnovers and well...concusions, now he's playing really solid defense on the boards (like a winger should) which is giving him one-on-ones and a crap ton of opportunities.

Hopefully Hedja won't be out for terribly long, but it looked really bad. If he's out for a while it's a huge blow to this team and it may force their hands on the trade front (trading partners will try and milk more out of them knowing their situation too).

Oh yeah for sure. A solid Two way game helps set up a good offense.. Especially if you are in good positioning. Awesome well if they play 'em on NHL network ill definitely tune in. What is your opinion on on kulikov from Florida if you have one.

Its huge cause Colorado could really use a better point man on the PP.. Mitchell and PAP make me wanna claw my eyes out. So we really need a Two way D-man .. and a DFD if hedja is out. Its a huge huge huge deal if hes out for a extended amount of time. I haven't heard anything. .. wait they just said hes out for a while on the pregame

Geno will not travel to Boston, that's 2 games now he will be out.

We are getting decimated with injuries. All the following are out:

Malkin
Martin
Scuderi
Dupuis (might play vs BOS)
Bennett
Glass
Vokoun

I hope we can close out a deal for Kulikov.
We've long had interest in getting him since Roy took over. He was rumored to be a part of the package Florida offered for #1.

I think he needs a change of scenery and to play with a better team.

I think his value isn't a first. JMO but you don't give a #1 for a bust. Taking the 1 off the board what do we offer?

#2 and a prospect?

I don't think you give up a pick for Kulikov.
There was no way we were moving #1 without Gudbranson,#2 and then some.

Add Orpik to the list. Pens are out doing some cheap shots (knee to the head) and they are getting some in return for their questionable tactics.

This. It takes a lot for Thornton to just completely lose it like that.

Still can't believe Orpik didn't take Dougie Hamilton up on his earlier challenge after the shot on Eriksson. He probably would've destroyed Dougie and nothing further comes of it. But, like the little b**ch he is, he instigates and runs when confronted.

Neal is another one. Can't believe he even tried to deny he did that on purpose. He completely changed direction to make contact. Just happy Marchand wasn't hurt worse.

It was a crap thing for Neal to do. He deserves his suspension.
