CJ Anderson can tote the rock period.

That's where my vote goes. If the man can pass protect, he's gonna be on the field a whole lot.....imo

He makes people miss like a smaller back, he's got explosive legs and power like a bigger back. Now I don't know how far along the guy is on the playbook and knowing blocking protection but his running is the most well rounded of all the backs that we have IMO.

We can speculate all day. But I'm pretty sure when he's ready to go, he'll get his opportunity again and something tells me this guy isn't going to let that slip through his fingers.
That's what I saw.

He reminds me of TD. I'm not saying anything other than that in that statement.

His attributes that I saw on display, listed above, remind me of TD.

Reminds me more of Ray Rice or MJD.

these are some lofty praises for a guy who was undrafted and has a single half of preseason playing time against scrubs who are no longer in the NFL.

i hope this is true, if he is 80% of what Rice or MJD were in their primes this offense will be incredible on a potentially Maddenesque scale.

Agree with this. He could be "the" guy. The guy who could lead the broncos in rushing the next few years. Doesn't matter where he's drafted. I'm rooting for him.

Whatever happened to Montee getting a chance to be our lead back? All of a sudden everyone wants CJ to vault to #1?

I didn't put that much thought into the comparison, but ya never know. I'm not alone in thinking he could be the Broncos best RB given the chance.

Who cares. Best RB wins. And from what I've seen so far CJ>Ball.

What Ball has had 15 carries?? Moreno and Hillman have had full seasons to show what they have.

He was our "MF" of preseason so of course the hype goes to him.

Default CJ?

I said ages ago that KM would start (as well as J Thomas btw) and he did. If he does not get injured (big if) he is our best overall back right now.

I still have hopes that Monte will develop into a balanced back that can also be depended on for 3rd and 1. IMHO Hillman will never be more than a nice complimentary change of pace.

CJ - an undrafted player -based on 1 pre-season game against scrubs? Not saying it is impossible for him to emerge, but don't think I am going to put my short-term hopes on him making us a running power house...

If you hadn't noticed, most people on the OM seem to want to give up on Ball before he's even started. Don't ask me why.

Personally I don't care who breaks out at RB as long as someone does.

Nobody is giving up on Ball because he will be a good one. His

college stats are phenomenal.

However the ONLY problem we have on offense right now is balance.

The run game needs to pull its weight right now and CJ MIGHT be

the answer right now so he needs an opportunity and the coaching

staff obviously agrees.....................

Our run blocking is garbage. This fact often seems to be lost on many on this board. GARBAGE.
