I am getting close I'm ready 2 play almost there did alot of cutting and pass routes getting back in shape lets go
I imagine this kid will get a crack at some touches seeing as we kept him around despite being undrafted and hurt.

Heard from everyone that he was by far the best back in camp. I say we see him week 3 vs the raiders. Hope he shows something.

I still think Hillman is the best RB we got though.

Since when did "everyone" say he was by far the best back in camp? Camp reports never said he was anything special. He was good in the niners game but I don't remember any other time he stood out

Personally I read and heard a couple of camp reports saying he was the best pure runner outside of Hillman and he impressed coaches at camp.

First of all, I don't think Hillman is the best back we've got, if that's true, then we're truly pathetic in that department.
I think Moreno is the best back we've got right now hands down, I take Moreno over Hillman any day of the week...

Now, as far as CJ Anderson is concerned, I think everybody liked what he showed in pre-season, and again, that was pre-season.
One thing that complemented his performance though... was what all the players and coaches said about CJ after the game, that he's been doing that all training camp long and in practice. That's enough for me to cautiously raise my level of expectation about CJ to actually be looking forward to see him play and hope for something good.

As far as B-Large is concerned, its open and may the best man take the job and run with it...

He might be the best all around RB we have. He's got more size then Hillman. He's got more lateral quickness then Ball and Moreno. His vision, even with the limited amount of TV coverage we saw of him, you could tell was really really good. He makes people miss like a smaller back, he's got explosive legs and power like a bigger back. Now I don't know how far along the guy is on the playbook and knowing blocking protection but his running is the most well rounded of all the backs that we have IMO.

We can speculate all day. But I'm pretty sure when he's ready to go, he'll get his opportunity again and something tells me this guy isn't going to let that slip through his fingers.

If CJ is 100% KM won't have to worry about dressing on game days.

If and only if CJ has some pass protection skills.

Considering Moreno is the only one with a real clue on pass pro this isn't close to being true.

My guess is CJ will get some red zone and goal line carries provided he can block decently and gain good yardage.

No chance this happens. He is our best pass protector and since we play out of the shotgun every 2 out if 3 plays he will dress.

I know it was just preseason but he has that spark. Also preseason or not I watched him pull 4 other players 4 yards after impact to get a first down for us .

I just have a gut feeling this kids gonna be special.

Moreno is injury prone yes. But I feel he's the best back on the roster. He's better then all in pass pro Moreno Hillman Ball cj. I list cj back because its a incomplete . I think hilman is the only better in pass reception Hillman moreno ball cj cj last because incomplete. And run wise I thinking goes moreno cj ball Hillman. I think if anything cj over ball simply because he's a better runner. JMO though

Being we don't exactly know what we have with cj. And what we have seen with cj its been good. I hope he doesn't go inactive.

That is true and another example of being truly pathetic in that dept. We've never seen CJ in a real game, but we have seen Moreno do something, do nothing, pull a bonehead play, etc. I'm not one that falls on the Moreno bandwagon because he does something good because we know what else can happen with him. Let's see what CJ can do, give him an opportunity, then decide.

CJ deserves a chance as I said weeks ago and obviously the coaching staff agrees. Some of you idiots are already eating a side dish of Crow over this guy. A main course of it is coming.

Get something ready to WASH IT DOWN WITH.............................................

As I was telling someone just the other day. Why would the Broncos use a roster spot on an undrafted on-the-bubble rookie who's probably out for the first few games anyway?

The team sees something more in this kid. I think we saw a flash of it too.

My last adopt a Bronco was Sydquan. I had high hopes for him. I have high hopes for CJ. I think he gets it. He has the vision and he has the moves. Once he catches up to the speed of the game, I think we'll see something. I have a better feeling about CJ than I do about Hillman.

Moreno is still the best back. CJ looked to be the best at breaking tackles and fighting for extra yardage. That is something we need, so he will get his touches in short yardage and goal-line situations. Maybe he will take those opportunities to show us something more.

Absolutely, I agree with you there. I'm not a big fan of Moreno, I've never been on his bandwagon at all, and you can ask Popps about it
That said, I recognize we just don't have anybody able to run the ball to a respectable level, and Moreno is all we've got when you look at those able to dress up on game day.
CJ, like I've said, showed promise. His performance, albeit minimal against 3rd teamers- was backed-up by his teammates and coaches.
I'm looking forward to see him play for sure

I've never been too excited about preseason performances, especially by running backs. Never really been on any of those trains.

And I'll be the first to admit I'm no expert.

But I have watched decades of this game and sometimes I just get a gut feeling after watching someone on the field.

FWIW, I have that feeling that CJ is going to be something special. Time will tell.
