stupid and all, but the linebackers and dline were incredibly impressive last night. great run d and the linebackers played downright phenomenal coverage all night. Woodyard looks headed to the probowl already

Until another NFL game kicks off on Sunday, Travathan gets to be the knucklehead of the national sports media. I hope he enjoys his time in the spotlight.

I hope he also realizes, there is no guarantee that he'll ever get another chance to carry another ball into the EZ for the rest of his career.

Didn't they have to hit the ball to the endzone turf back in the day for the score to count or something??

The funny thing about this is it was like 3rd and 12 or 4th and 12 and I told my son in law Failco was gonna throw a pick six and sure enough Trevathan failed us! What a dumbass!

It was great to see him and Woodyard on the sideline bench not long after Danny's mistake - and Woodyard back in the game. WW is a GREAT leader on this team, I'm glad he didn't get hurt too bad.

On another subject......Welker, you are on the 3 yard line. Why are you catching that ball, or trying to? THAT was a worse move than Trevathon's by a country mile.

Trevathan looks to be the most important addition to our starting lineup.

He learned his lesson, settle the **** down and enjoy having LBs that can cover for once.

Was good to see DelRio get on his ass about it, would have been a disaster not only if had sparked a comeback, but if Woodyards injury was more serious. Thought for a minute we were in line for some Brock time.
Yeah, I agree. That is the first thing I thought of. He was on the team last year he should know better.

But he did play a great game so time to move on. Giants here comes Denver.

Him, DRC and Nacho are all on pretty much the same level to me. Nacho was everywhere in the run and pass game.

He played a hell of a game. Glad his mistake only cost us on the stat line. Doubt he makes the same mistake again.

Our LBs were beastly last night

With the exception of Woodyard misreading a run by Pierce I think in the early 2nd quarter they were spot on

Dline was shutting down the run and the LBs were flying around making plays

He played great and it's his first year starting. It was a very dumb move but it ultimately is a footnote in a dominating performance. He won't make that mistake again.

Especially not after Del Rio almost ate his soul on the sideline.

Jesus.

BTW, his wife cut me off the other day

That one is too obvious.

The better question is, "What could you have possibly yelling at Jack Del Rio?"

Dude, there is no valid argument for that stupidity. Just take your medicine, at that point.
Exactly what I said in the GDT

That's just silly. Hell get his this week. Not something I would deem bench worthy. Not with a win .

this. You can bet Trev won't be doing that again. Esp with it resulting in an injury scare for Wood

Are you suggesting he'll get benched going forward because of that error? He didn't even get benched LAST NIGHT.

The kid played great all night. We're so hung up on the bonehead play, we're already forgetting he made a great pick on that play.

It's a nice lesson to learn in a blowout victory.

No. I meant exactly what I wrote. There's no guarantee he'll ever get another pick that he can score on. An NFL career is short. You can't take any opportunity for granted.

This just might unseat "butt fumble" in the not so top ten. (Is he still the #1, I rarely watch Espn)

Trevathan played an awesome game except for that bonehead mistake. Having an LB corps that can cover short and intermediate routes again is just awesome.

But, it just reinforced how much I love Del Rio as our DC. I found myself wondering if he would still beat Trevathan's ass in a fistfight. Del Rio was hot, and it didn't take long for Trevathan to put his tail between his legs.
