The pistol and the pumped looked like a fu#*ing idiot out there as he was almost 2 yards before the goalline. It wasn't even close. I'm blown away how often this happens in the NFL. The coaches need to make this an emphasis to hand the ball to the official. 2x in 2 years is 2x too much. Thank god the first one wasn't caught and that this one was in a blowout.

Trindon actually did it twice last year.

Its unreal...its literally the simplest thing in the entire game.

With Holiday doing it last year and now Trev doing it this year. It deserves more then just a mention now and then. It should be drilled home. The ball stays in your hands until you reach the back of the endzone. It should be mentioned every week. Nothing you practice for, but none the less, it should be mentioned every week at the end of practice.

Trevathan did a lot of great things but was an absolute bonehead on that play. Absolutely inexcusable.

Decker getting the ball punched out from behind (which the Ravens smartly have it driven into their head to do ALL the time)

Welker inside the 10 (really?).

All stupid **** that the coaches will hopefully drive home and tattoo on their skulls to never, ever do again.

The fact that they won going away, hell, look at this stupidity as stuff on film that will hopefully make then better in the long run.

Super Bowl.

Trevathan looked really good out there tonight minus him going full retard on that one play. You guys can stress about his mistake, I'll just enjoy the fact that it looks like we have another young, stud linebacker.

The blowout gave us this option to enjoy him as a good LB. had they lost by 7? Don't think he would make it to his car.

Trevathan must not have been paying attention last year when Trindon was getting yelled at for pulling the same stunt. If he keeps that up, he is going to lose me as a FB friend. I mean it.

Was good to see DelRio get on his ass about it, would have been a disaster not only if had sparked a comeback, but if Woodyards injury was more serious. Thought for a minute we were in line for some Brock time.

Is it just me, or does Danny Trevathan look like a retarded 60-year-old woman?

The bad thing is he's not even close to in. He's like a full yard out.

The problem with that for me is he was long gone and tried to taunt. Just get into the endzone, dance, throw the ball into the stands if you want, pay the fines, but ****ing score first.

We said the same thing last year after Trindon did it. Just saying.

You obviously didn't catch "the pump's" TD celebration. Was epic until I saw Wood crumpled in the endzone.

if he feels like such a douche, why was he shouting back at Del Rio?

Kid needs to shut the **** up, period. This needs to be more embarrassing if anything, he definitely hadn't learned his lesson based on the tirade

He'll never repeat that, and I think he was just angry with himself and blew off some steam in the argument with JDR. From what I've seen so far he's probably the best cover LB on the team and could be a real good one. Great job by JDR getting him on the field as a starter.

Was dismayed to see this after Holiday did it last year. Glad to see that JDR actually gave a damn, though.

This is what happens when a player is so concerned with what stupid dance and celebration he is going to do, he takes his mind off the ball so to speak. Just make the play and worry about everyone looking at you later. Let's hope Woodyard is ok and won't miss any games, otherwise this will rank even higher on the boneheaded plays of all-time.

It was an incredibly dumb mistake, but he wasn't really taunting or showboating. He just lost his head and lost track of where he was before letting the ball go.

Anyway, KevinJames is right that the 7th Manning TD likely doesn't happen without it, so pretty nice silver lining. Plus Trevathan was a beast the rest of the game (including 10 seconds before his ****up).

a moronic play for any player of any experience, to be sure. but this kid has some skills and will be a big contributor on that D. he'll take another one to the house this year--he's got big play ability written all over him.
