Default Fact of the day

Heard on the Dan Patrick show:

The last 7 Super Bowl champions played the NFC East and Patriots in the reg. season.

Only 2013 team with that schedule is the Denver Broncos.

And 8 years ago, the team that played the NFC East and the Pats, but did not go
on to win the Superbowl...

The Denver Broncos

Screw you, Pittsburgh!

Can the stat for tomorrow be the distance that Apollo 13 was when the O2 Tank was stirred and sparked up forcing Gene Kranz to come up with an inGENEious series of plans to save them?

Did you really need to remind us about that? I was feeling pretty good until I got to your post. You're basically saying that fact of the day is true, until the Broncos come into the picture.

Since 2009, the opponents for the Eagles home opener went on to win the Super Bowl.

I think the Chargers are about to break that streak. Or are they?
