Default Ramirez sucks balls.

First, thoughts and prayers with Wolfe.

Does Ramirez even understand football?

Idiot made no effort to tackle Browner after fumble in endzone. Then literally looks at Brock's fumble lying on the ground looks up at nearest Seahawk and basically says, "sure have the ball we don't want it."

In a ****ty game ramirez is the ****tiest.

I'd hate to see what this guy says during the regular season. Such hate. Not needed.

Hey I realize that came off as harsh, but damn ManRam stared at Brock's fumble lying on the ground, stopped, looked at the Seahawk coming in and watched him fall on it.

Play to whistle! Even if you think it's incomplete, cover it!

I hope Manny can step up if he's the guy but damn have some awareness.

I actually saw Peyton have plenty of time to throw those long drives. Even in the 1st 3 and out. Now if players like Vasquez go down it will be a different story. Manning didnt even get sacked right?

Man ram should have pushed him out of the back of the endzone rather than watch him run away 108 yards for a Td.

He also stared at the defender after Hillman fumbled, Ramirez just walked right by him in the end zone. I hate to say it, but if he starts in the regular season we are probably boned.

Like I've said repeatedly, this guy sucks and if he is our starting center it severely impacts our playoff chances.

It was from the defensive players blowing by him.

Thread title is misleading, Ramirez isn't flexible enough to do that.

ManRam did look lost out there often tonight. He had a few decent blocks but is clearly not the brightest lamp in the forest. I mean these guys are all pros right, you would think at least a few times in their long careers they would have heard that you are suppose to at least tap the opposing player you are standing directly over when they have just recovered what looks like a fumble by your man, especially in the end zone!!

That was a category FIVE Mind Fart ... with a Bullet ... for sure, and doesn't bode particularly well as a display of Rameriz brain speed and smarts.. Something we would hope our starting center has plenty of.... Someone send the Luminosity app to Manny ASAP!

Ryan Lilja looked equally lost as second string center a good deal of the time too. Though he started to settle down and play better as his night went on. He is much more active and quick than Manny even though half Mannys size as well but may just need another month to get back in the football groove after being essentially retired until a few weeks ago.

In many respects this was a typical game 2 preseason game uwith enough good stuff mixed in with more than enough mental errors and FUBAR plays by a good number of our players to both indicate the many areas that need focus and fixing, but also showing a core strength that will manifest as this team gels in the coming weeks and over the first month of the season. Assuming we get all the guys back quickly who went down last night and especially Wolfe, Welker, Champ and Louis V.

However, I'm afraid Derek might be out for awhile even though his injury looks much less severe than first feared. That made me sick to my stomach watching him lay flat on his last night not moving at all. At least a spinal cord contusion is likely and they won't dick around with that, if it is that.

Champs foot is a concern, here's praying it's not a LisFranc injury , or how ever you spell that.

Manny, Wes and Bradley should all be back by the Ravens I presume and I really don't care if we win another PS game as long as we clean up our defensive and ST crap and that Ronnie and Julius have both learned valuable lessons about ball control which I suspect they will have after last night.

That's the rub, we have a lot of young talent and there will be these kind of growing pains, glad to get through them now rather than later. Hillman still scored and the ball crossed the plane a fraction of a second before he got it popped. But he learned, nonetheless, not to lead with the ball over the line unless on 4th down... Something he too should have learned by now, a long time ago ...

Barring any long term sustained injuries from tonight, and going forward not having too many ..or any... significant damaging injuries too, we will be just fine as this team gets back in the groove of full sixty minute full contact again.

At least now everyone will write us off as not being SB favorites which is a much better place to be as far as press hype and what our young players listen too everyday.

We got to earn it first, then talk about it!

By the way you guys talk, you'd think he let up a hundred sacks yesterday. I don't pretend to know the finer details of o-line play, but Peyton had plenty of time yesterday. Any of the "were ****ed if Ramirez starts" talk is odd. Especially considering center is a bit of a new position for him, and his guard play last year improved with time

I would rest a LOT easier with Kuper at center - he is definitely a better player than Ramirez, he is also the natural leader of the line who makes a lot of the line calls so having him at center will be natural. With Kuper flanked by Beadles, Vasquez, Orlando and Clady the line should be able to keep Manning on his feet long enough to get one of the many talented players running around down field open and open some decent holes for Hillman and Ball to run through.

It's completely false to say that Manny did nothing when Hillman fumbled that ball in front of him. Watch the tape. He waved his hand at it.
