Any time the Broncos feel overconfident, all Fox needs to do is to pull out the tape on last season's playoff death.

I think there are several teams that are "on the radar."

NFL players are professionals, and they show up every game... but the Broncos are arguably the most talented team in the league. You have to think that teams will bring their a-game against us.

Sure, but that's different than "gunning" for a team.

The Ravens are getting worse odds than they should. Just the fact that it is so hard to go back to back sb wins tells you that it is very unlikely they repeat. Add that to the fact that Joe Flacco will go back to Mark Sanchez and they had the luckiest run ever last year makes the odds of 30 to 1 bad in my opinion. If you bet them this year you are donating money.

Denver already proved they can beat so-so to bad teams.Under .500 winning % against quality teams in 12.

Denver needs to show ability to win on the road against playoff calibur teams this year. I mean if your a top dog you got to show it. I hope we learned from playoff game but, we can't assume we did our didn't until Jan but, beating NE and Houston (during season) on the road would make me more confident in playoffs this time.

I'll have to agree with this. Nobody is talking about the Falcons. I think they can make it to the big dance this year.

You can lock in a profit if you can get one of the teams you bet on in the big game. Hopefully they are a huge favorite too.

The Broncos know their own expectations. It's not like they read these odds, and are shocked. Elway and Fox have put together, essentially, an all-star team. If they don't do it this year or next year, I don't know when they will do it...

i am not sure about that. Every year they are that sexy pick that a lot of people make. They have a good regular season and score a lot of points and then the playoffs come and they lay down. I look at them as the new version of the Chargers. that team everyone picks with a ton of talent that annually lets you down.

I really feel that the only team that can beat the 2013 Denver Broncos is the 2013 Denver Broncos.

Doesn't mean much really. When was the last time a team going into the season as the favorites, actually won it?

If you look at it like that then maybe it means the Broncos willnot win the Super Bowl.

I remember going to a game in KC when the Broncos were getting beat by something like 30 pts. The players were laughing and having a ball on the sidelines like they were winning a playoff game or something. They don't care nor do they show up for every game. The fans take this game more serious and get heartbroken way more than the players

I don't think very many will be viewing the Ravens the same way. Ray Ray was the heart and soul of the team. Everyone knows Flacco was throwing up prayers last year. who's he got now to answer them.

January is what I'm worried about. That gag job I saw last January still haunts all my thoughts about this season. "10 times out of 10" my ass.

Think of it as entertainment that you pay for--the house gets its vig to entertain you. Kind of like bowling. There is no objective value to bowling. But people like it and have fun.

Personally, I don't understand why people like gambling. But a lot do.

If he's a half-decent coach he well. He should rub their snouts in it like a dog to its vomit.
