2-0 BRONCOS 10
If Trevor Siemian continues to play like this -- placing the football wherever he wants, finding the large windows in the opposing secondary -- forget it. The Broncos will go deep into the playoffs. Siemian won't always have the luxury of facing a secondary minus its top three corners, like the Cowboys on Sunday, but you can't take anything away from him. And the way Denver's secondary is gluing to receivers, the Broncos' pass rush has more than enough time to crash the pocket. That's why it was so ironic that Fox showed highlights of former Cowboy Ed "Too Tall" Jones crushing Denver QB Craig Morton in Super Bowl XII, because that is precisely what Broncos star Von Miller was doing to Dallas QB Dak Prescott -- when he wasn't jumping offsides, anyway. I was conservative about Team Elway last week. Not anymore. Funny how no one talks about Paxton Lynch these days.

I think we've beat a formidable opponent in the Cowboys, and still the raiders are ahead of us
Who did the raiders beat?
The jets and the Titans?

Well ,they were ahead of Denver at the end of last year, ahead of Denver in the preseason and they have done nothing at the start of this season to be behind Denver at this point.

Pretty reasonable rankings, minus, of course, New England* at 4. 14 is more accurate.

I think that at the end of the season we'll look at the Cowboys win much like the Panthers win last year. Meaningful at the time, but ultimately against a bad opponent.

3 in the top 7 from the afc West. It's going to be a tough schedule this year.

CBS Sports

7. Broncos If Trevor Siemian keeps it going, they will be a deep playoff team. But now they have to play their first road game at Buffalo.

Bleacher Report has Denver at #7

Denver Broncos Edge Buffalo Bills in Close Matchup

After two home victories, the Broncos look like Super Bowl contenders on their way to Buffalo. However, the offensive line could pose a few issues on Sunday.

Left tackle Garett Bolles suffered a high ankle sprain and a bone bruise in the previous game, per 9News reporter Mike Klis:

Further diagnosis on Garett Bolles: High ankle sprain/deep bone bruise. Out a couple weeks per source. #9sports

For the Broncos, the news brings a sigh of relief when considering the injury seemed a lot worse than the actual diagnosis. Nonetheless, Donald Stephenson will take over at left tackle, which leaves Menelik Watson on the right side.

According to Sam Monson of Pro Football Focus, Watson has allowed six sacks in two contests:

Menelik Watson has already allowed 6 sacks. Only 12 OTs allowed more than that all of last season.

Despite Siemian's promising performance against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2, there's concern about his pass protection. Fortunately for the second-year signal-caller, he can dump off quick passes to running backs C.J. Anderson and Jamaal Charles to avoid the Bills pass rush.

NFL Power Rankings: Broncos raise AFC West to power of three for Week 3

The Chiefs and Raiders are picking up where they left off with impressive offensive-minded victories. But how about those Broncos, who have suddenly got their passing, rushing and scoring groove back, as well?

Denver has the best defense of the trio, while Oakland has the best offense. Kansas City has the best all-around team so far.

NFL Power Rankings: Week 3

1. Kansas City Chiefs 2-0 (last week: 2)
Kareem Hunt has them ahead in the AFC title chase, as the rookie has flown out of the gate to spark the offense in the second half twice in big games. He's not about to slow down anytime soon.

This week: at Chargers, their first AFC West test, Sunday

2. Oakland Raiders 2-0 (last week: 3)
Derek Carr and Michael Crabtree took care of most of the business against the Jets, but Marshawn Lynch had plenty of fun running and dancing, too. They are balanced, dangerous and explosive in every way.

This week: at Redskins, a national prime-time showcase, Sunday

3. Denver Broncos 2-0 (last week: 8)
Trevor Siemian and C.J. Anderson are delivering the necessary complementary football for their defense, which has a whole new brand of energy under Vance Joseph and Joe Woods. This is a more complete contender, one season removed from the Super Bowl hangover.

This week: at Bills, their first road trip, Sunday

4. Atlanta Falcons 2-0 (last week: 6)
Matt Ryan and Julio Jones haven't even exploded yet, and their offense has hummed along thanks to more great running from Devonta Freeman. The fast young defense is happy to have its old glue guy back at cornerback, Desmond Trufant.

This week: at Lions, where two friendly Matts meet, Sunday

SB Nation has Denver ahead of the Raiders

NFL power rankings 2017, Week 3: Hope is high in the AFC West
14

The race between the Chiefs, Broncos, and Raiders is going to be a fun one.

Denver Broncos

Wait ... is Trevor Siemian actually good?

After two weeks he has a passer rating of 106.9 and he’s tied with Matthew Stafford for the league lead in touchdown passes. Surely, that’s going to slow down, right?

The Broncos are supposed to be the team with a dominant defense that carries a subpar offense. Who’s going to stop them if the offense can score five touchdowns like it did Sunday?

1 Kansas City Chiefs 1
2 Denver Broncos 9
3 Oakland Raiders 6
4 Baltimore Ravens 12

Here is how the pro's actually see the league rankings not the media rankings like ESPN power rankings.

So which of the numerous 2-0 teams 'power ranked' below the Pats do you think would actually be underdogs to NE on a neutral field?

Power Rankings are message board fodder. So anyone that posts on a message board is a loser.
