Incredible work by the FO, and great news that Kuper is back on the field. This is 100% win-win.

I agree completely now. So they said, we will pay you the injury settlement money, but we want you to play, so we will put out incentives... of course the other option was to cut him after day one back on the field and not waste a dime. So this is definitely better for all parties, plus Kupe remains a Bronco!

He still has to make the team. I wish him luck as I suspect we all do. He is a great Bronco.

Apparently you don't remember the times when we had to scuffle through Micah Knorr,Jason Baker & etc. I do, if you have to cut Kuper lose to pay Colquitt then you do it!

That said, I doubt he gets cut as he'll likely restructure and try to build his value back for later on.

Practice has been over for at least 10 mins, Chris Kuper still on the field, snapping the ball. #Broncos

Pretty much this and I've been saying this for months upon months. I think it's fair to restructure and guarantee a million and add bonus $ versus cutting him now.. He's not playing next the next two years at $5 million per. He would have to dominate/start. He will likely restructure again or be cut. We shall see.

Yes. I was thinking Wes was at 2/$10, not 2/$12.....and then reading that Colquitt extension was $3.9 per year. That's where I got the $1 mil per year diff. My bad.

In any case.....Colquitt's extension per year ($3.9m) is almost double the base salaries of Decker and DT COMBINED this year.

I hope we hear from Kupe's Dad and I hope he feels his son was treated fairly. Only their family and the FO knows the whole story.

I'm sure he would prefer his son making $4.5 million plus versus $1 million + incentives...

After the Welker signing, this is my favorite move the broncos have made this offseason. With the way injuries have hit our line it might prove to be the most valuable overall

Man, the thought of a Clady-Beadles-Kuper-Vasquez-Franklin line...

If Kuper can adjust to a new position and they all stay healthy and develop some good chemistry... then you've got Manning throwing it to those weapons...

This offense has record breaking potential.

I disagree. If he regains his health and form, he's worth that kind of money.

Agreed. With Beadles a FA, maybe Kuper is a more affordable alternative. Or possibly the starting center going forward.
