Can't wait for the "this front office is a joke" meltdown if CJ is cut at the end of preseason. My guess is if he shows enough promise over the next few games, his knee is going to suddenly start hurting and they will be "forced" to put him on IR.

No need to stash this guy either he earns the four spot or hits the PS.

If he can't beat out L. Ball than he will be safe on the PS or no loss.

Looks like this thread is replacing the Peyton Hillis thread.

That's like saying CJ Anderson is going to be as good as TD. We are 93+ pages short of Hillis thread territory.

Can we get the guy some reps against a 1st or 2nd string defense before we cut him or compare him to TD?!?!?!?!?!?!

Do me a favor and show me the post where someone compared Anderson's ability to TD's ability. I give you a dollar for every one you find dated previous to this post.

And I will give you $1,000,000 for the post where I said can we not compare his ability to TD's ability.

Broncos have history of finding undrafted gems, and Anderson could be this year's find
Published August 10, 2013
Associated Press
DENVER An undrafted college free agent has made Denver's Week 1 roster in each of the last nine seasons. C.J. Anderson aims to keep that streak going.
The former University of California running back has been the untold story of the Broncos' training camp, toiling as he has behind second-round draft pick Montee Ball, second-year speedster Ronnie Hillman and former first-rounder Knowshon Moreno in Denver's dynamic backfield.
Nobody's talking about him thumping that trio anytime soon, but he's certainly put himself into the mix for making the 53-man roster after rushing for a game-high 69 yards on 15 carries Thursday night in Denver's 10-6 preseason win at San Francisco.

Using that one would be the same as me quoting every post where you mentioned TD.

Point being, we have seven pages of a thread on a guy that ran 69 yards against 3rd stringers. And yes he did impress me but once again posters are either blowing their load all over a guy or ready to say cut him.

I'd like to see AT LEAST the rest of the preseason to even begin making my mind up on a guy.

Truthfully I haven't see anyone doing that. Just about every post is commenting on the one good game he had against backups. But like you say he did look good.

OR YOU'RE RIGHT

I'll give you a dollar for all my posts that have TD mentioned in them and you give me a million for your post, deal?

I work in Canadian currency, you're probably going to end up behind in that deal.

A lot of talent, but unknowns at RB.

It is the position on offense that seems lacking in firepower. I definitely want to see how the season plays out. I expect someone to step up.

I am so hard for the cutback. It was hilarious the amount of giddiness I felt watching it. At this point I'm just happy to feel like I'm watching the broncos again.

I mean I love Nintendo offenses with other teams qbs on rental as much as any other heartless fan, but man was that nice!

I like what each can bring to the table, but wish it had a stronger veteran presence. It is a young group of players. I am worried about mental lapses in pass protection and working the kinks out of Ball and Hillman who still have a lot to work on.

He's probably going to the practice squad now.

Yep.

So much for getting him some reps against better D's this pre-season.

That's actually better than I thought and I hope he stays on the active roster.
