5 years of my daughter playing and now my son and I still have confusion about offsides.

I just tell them to stay a step or 2 behind the person with the ball when waiting for a pass.

It's easier to just think of it this way - there has to be 2 defenders (goalie and another defender) between your team and the goal at the moment when the ball is passed.

The offside rule in soccer is pretty simple, never understood why people find it so difficult.

Nice video, pretty clever. Fans of NFL will see it and laugh at soccer, while soccer fans will see it and laugh at the NFL. Nicely done.
