As long as Walton and Kuper are on PUP I don't see a problem carrying 4 TEs and 6 WRs and going light on OL. Hypothetically we could carry 3 QBs, 4 RBs, 4 TEs, 6 WRs and 8 OL on the roster which will leave 25 spots for defense and 3 for ST. Right now Clady, Clark, Ramirez, Vasquez, Franklin, Beadles, Lilja, Painter is a guess at a roster for OL with Walton and Kuper eligible for return at week 6.

What about Dysert? I still think they should try and stow him away on the PS, and just go with 2 QBs for the season.

Virgil Green

- 5 Receptions with 4 First Downs last year.... he gets to the chains... (albeit SMALLLLL sample)

I just see no reason not to keep all 4.

Whats wrong with this?
I see no issue with that especially since Holliday is a return man more than a receiver. So it really is 5 receivers and 4 TE with a return guy who a few times over the year will line up as a receiver.

Not only that but he is a really good extra blocker in short yardage or goal line situations

Sure, i just thought that conversation was based on if you had to dump one, which one would you dump. I chose Green.

I didn't consider we would really need only two QBs this year so if that means we can reasonably keep all 4 TEs than great.

i don't see us keeping less than 4. Manning loves going to his TE's.
each one brings something different to the game.
Thomas is the key piece, if he puts it all together he's a TE type we haven't had since Sharpe. we've had Scheff and Putz but neither was consistent enough or couldn't stay healthy.

I don't get the Virgil Green love. It's more hype than anything he's done on the field. You know what Tamme can do. He's huge in big situations. I don't see anyway they let him go and leave two unproven guys like green and thomas to be the show.

Tamme and Green played ST last season and that's got to be a major reason they are able to keep 4 TEs. Now, the Broncos will play more 3 wr sets with the addition of Welker, and there will without a doubt be less TEs on the field than last year. But since the Broncos have TEs that compliment each other very well, I'm still heavily leaning towards them keeping 4.

If anyone is cut, it has to be Green. But he's a very versatile player who excelles at ST and short yardage situations at either TE/FB. And he's still very young young and cheap. It's hard to cut somebody like that.

Anything on Quanterus?” He is out there running all drills it looks like

Quinton Carter back at practice today. Derek Wolfe not here. Had a slight ankle injury Sunday, first he's missed

Lilja snapping to Osweiler, @MaseDenver tells me (haven't stepped outside yet), so they'll make him earn it from Manny

Bailey on Decker one-on-one goal line is a huge treat. Decker schooled Bailey twice, cut 24 out of his sneakers. Bailey held up 3rd time.

WR Bubba Caldwell having a very, very strong practice today. Badly needed for him. #

MileHighReport ‏@MileHighReport

Ronnie Hillman just scored on a 60+ yard pass play, if only we were allowed to show you the highlight

It must be demoralizing to know that it doesn't matter how well you cover the receiver, Peyton Manning will still make the play

Manning throwing a much better ball than what we saw last year In camp. Velocity and Zip every time

He's been having a pretty good camp. Bitterness about not being invited has lit a fire under him looks like

Wolfe out today because of illness; Fox didn't want it to spread.

In fact, there are 52 wide receivers in the NFL who are scheduled to earn more cash this season than the $2,159,500 that Thomas and Decker will take home, including San Diego Chargers wideout Eddie Royal, who caught 206 passes for 2,107 yards and nine touchdowns in 57 games with the Broncos from 2008-11.

51" contracts on the Broncos roster for the 2014 have salary cap numbers totaling $119.95 million and the team will carry $666,667 in "dead" money after releasing running back Willis McGahee and linebacker Joe Mays.
Gone are the millions we were used to seeing with Shanny.
